Mikhail Lvov is a poet of the Soviet Union. He is famous not only for his work, but also for the merits that he showed during the Second World War. Many comrades and even commanders admired his courage.

Biography of Mikhail Lvov

Mikhail Davydovich was born on January 4, 1917 in the Republic of Bashkortostan. The name given to him at birth sounded like Malikov Rafkat Davletovich.

The pseudonym "Mikhail Lvov", under which the poet wrote his creations, he explained very simply - one of Rafkat's favorite poets was Mikhail Lermontov, from whom he adopted the name; he took the surname on behalf of Leo Tolstoy, who was for Rafkat one of the most prominent and talented classics of Russian literature.

Poet's family

Mikhail's father was a simple teacher in the village where the poet was born. Many years after the end of the Civil War, it became known that Mikhail Lvov's father was an ardent revolutionary. During the Civil War, the poet's father almost died defending the interests of his homeland.

Mother, graduating from the gymnasium in Zlatoust, received a gold medal for excellent studies.

However, the mother could not help the boy in his studies - having become seriously ill, shedied when Mikhail was not even a year old. The boy was raised by one father all his life, investing in Mikhail all the knowledge and skills necessary for a man.

Already at the age of six, Mikhail Lvov helped his father in hard work. My father taught Mikhail to plow the land, mow grass, cut firewood. Although it was hard for the boy, he never complained, seeing how hard it was for his father to keep the household alone. Already at an early age, Mikhail Lvov became a huge support for his father, who, in turn, was very grateful to his son throughout his life. Years later, Mikhail's father will say how proud he is of his son. “A real man who knows how to work both with his hands and with his head. He did everything so that I could be truly proud of him,”this is exactly what my father said about Mikhail, already on his deathbed.

Education

Despite the fact that Mikhail spent all his childhood in a typical Tatar family, he was fluent in Russian.

After graduating from school and growing up, Mikhail Lvov followed in his father's footsteps - the young poet entered the Pedagogical College in Miass. At this stage of education, Mikhail decided not to stop - after graduating from a technical school, while still at a young age, the poet entered the Maxim Gorky Literary Institute.

In 1941, Mikhail Lvov was already making sketches for his own works. While still a college student, he began writing his first book, which was published in 1940.

Interest in literature

The most important moment increative career was the help of a school teacher Mikhail Lvov. While teaching literature to the boy, the teacher noticed his talent for writing poetry and prose. Then the teacher decided to personally take on the development of writing talent in his student.

First of all, the teacher gave Mikhail Lvov a huge list of world classics, including Russian writers. After reading each book, Mikhail had to write several pages of essay in the same style as the author of the work. Thus, the list that the teacher gave Mikhail Lvov was fully read only three years later.

This literature teacher greatly influenced the further development of Mikhail's writing talent. This is what became the first literary school of the poet.

War years

With the advent of 1941, the war touched everyone. While studying and working at the same time, Mikhail Lvov spent a lot of time at construction sites that were carried out in the Urals. But the more time passed, the clearer it became that Russia needed help in this war. Then Mikhail Lvov and his comrades signed up as a volunteer. Having become a soldier, he was in the tank forces of the Soviet Union throughout the war.

Mikhail Lvov went through many roads with his tank detachment. Ukrainian, Czechoslovak, German and Polish roads became such military routes to peaceful life.

The commanders of the detachments and colleagues - everyone who fought hand in hand with Mikhail, everyone spoke about how brave and courageous this man was in battle.

Despite the heavy and terribletime, Michael wrote poems during the war. The most famous works of Mikhail Lvov were the poems "To become a man - it is not enough for them to be born", "Letter", "Stargazer" and others.

Post-war activities

After the end of the war, in 1950, Mikhail Lvov joins the ranks of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union.

It was with the onset of a calm and peaceful time that Mikhail was finally able to take up literature, because the poet had a soul for it. At first, Mikhail Lvov was engaged in translations of works by national poets of the Soviet Union. The most frequent works translated by the poet were the poems of Kazakh classics such as Mailin, Seifullin, Sarsenbaev.

Mikhail Lvov himself spoke about poetry, saying that poetry is the guardian of great values, and everything poets of the war and post-war times wrote about was filled with tragedy and heroism.

Mikhail's father, like his son, was interested in poetry and wrote his own poems, many of which were written in Russian.
