Yevgeny Klyachkin's mother died in 1942 (April) when the then Leningrad was under blockade. His father fought at the front, so the boy was evacuated from the besieged city to the Yaroslavl region. There he was raised in an orphanage. The father took his son to Leningrad. In 1952, Evgeny Klyachkin became a student at the Leningrad Civil Engineering Institute.

In 1957, the young man graduated from this educational institution and received a diploma in urban construction. Eugene was a design engineer in several construction organizations in Leningrad, including Lenproekt, GSPI-1.

In the summer of 1957, the future performer was a participant in the World Festival of Youth and Students, which was held in Moscow. my firsta young man wrote a song based on Kuzminsky's verses in October 1961. The work was called "Fog". At this moment, the path of Eugene in the world of creativity as a bard begins.

Like most of his peers, Eugene played the traditional seven-string guitar. At first, this man composed musical works based on poems by famous poets - Gorbovsky, Voznesensky, Kuzminsky, Brodsky. Then he began to create an increasing number of works based on his own poetry.

Many inhabitants of the Soviet Union, thanks to the songs of Klyachkin, got acquainted with the works of Joseph Brodsky;

Klyachkin's works "Neither Country, nor Graveyard", "Christmas Romance", "Pilgrims", romances by the Devil, Colombina, Harlequin, Myshkin and other actors of Joseph Brodsky's poem "The Procession" remain recognized as the values of the author's song today. Between 1963 and 1964, the musician attended a seminar dedicated to working with amateur composers.

The seminar operated within the framework of the Leningrad branch of the Union of Composers of the USSR. In the mid-80s, Eugene devoted himself to the professional stage. He performed as an artist of Rosconcert and Lenconcert. Eugene immigrated with his family to Israel. There he lived in the city of Ariel.

At the new place, he worked in the speci alty that he received back in his homeland, and also performed with various concerts and went on tour in the USA. On his 60th birthday, Evgeny came to Russia, it was in March 1994. He gave a number of concerts in Tula, St. Petersburg and Moscow. Eugene died on July 30, 1994 while swimming in the Mediterranean Sea.

The performer's heart stopped. The song heritage of Klyachkin contains more than 300 works. At the same time, about 70 songs are based on poems by other authors.

Subsequently, the latter achieved fame under the pseudonym Mikhail Krug. Klyachkin then told him the phrase: “Misha, you need to work.”

This wish influenced Vorobyov and pushed him to actively engage in creativity. Mikhail Krug dedicated his second album en titled "Green Prosecutor" to the memory of Yevgeny Klyachkin.
