His whole life is theater

Milinder Lev Maksovich was born back in 1930 in the glorious city of St. Petersburg. In his hometown, he graduated from the theater institute (1953), after which he actively achieved success in the acting field.

All his life Lev Milinder worked in the theater. First, by distribution, he ended up in the Academic Drama Theater named after I. F. Volkov, where he happened to work until 1954. Starting this year, the place where Milinder served his working days was the Academic Comedy Theater. Akimov in his beloved city of Leningrad (St. Petersburg).

Glory was not long in coming

In just six years of hard work, Lev Milinder learned what it means to be a crowd favorite. His acting skills were noticed in the play "Shadow", directed by Nikolai Akimov himself.

Since 1948, there has been a tradition to arrange a big holiday in honor of every hero of the day working in the theater. Such events were taken seriously, prepared in advance and the best performances were shown on them. Together with Alexei Savostyan and Leonid Leonidov, Lev Milinder was the author of such festive “skits” for many years.

Television work

Lev Milinder, whose biography is densely permeated with theatrical art, also repeatedly appeared on TV screens. The first picture with his participation, which viewers could see, was the TV show "Colorful Stories".

Not a very successful personal life

Milinder had a rare charisma and a subtle, intelligent sense of humor. In any company, he was in the center of attention, and especially attracted women. The ability to joke beautifully and at the same time behave with dignity came from Lev Milinder to his beloved grandson, the witty and charming TV presenter Ivan Urgant.

Milinder was married five times in his life, but in the end he was left alone. He was too amorous, but a noble man. At each divorce, Leo left all his property to his wife. His son Andrei, in search of family happiness, followed in the footsteps of his father: he was also married several times. But grandson Ivan, after a short trial family life in his student years, has been happily married for many years with his permanent companion classmate Natalya.

Marriage, to which Ivan Urgant owes his appearance

Lev Milinder and Nina Urgant got married in their student years. Their marriage lasted only four years. After the birth of their son Andrei (father of Ivan Urgant), they lived together for only a year. After parting, they practically did not communicate, but they always spoke warmly about each other.

It is not completely known why the Estonian surname Urgant passed from Nina to her husband. There is an assumption that at that time she was more popular than her husband, so the family chose a louder surname for themselves.

Nina Urgant was a truly talented actress. During her life she managed to play more than 50 film roles. Many remember her supporting roles in the films "Tiger Tamer" and"Be careful, grandma!" and the main ones - in the tapes "Belarusian Station" and "Mother and Stepmother".

Death and eternal memory

Lev Milinder died in 2005 on International Women's Day. A talented actor, always full of all sorts of ideas, worked tirelessly until the end of his days. Even when his he alth began to rapidly leave him, he did not have time to be treated - he devoted his whole life, without a trace, to art.

Modesty and kindness, charm and a subtle sense of humor made this man a favorite among his colleagues. Life gave Lev Maksimovich many true friends who will remember him for many years to come. Of today's theater and film lovers, few, unfortunately, will remember the talented actor Lev Milinder.

However, today, few people will not remember the humor, liveliness of mind and charisma of TV presenter and actor Ivan Urgant, who inherited from his grandfather. Andrey Urgant, the son of Lev Maksimovich, also achieved great recognition. Apparently, the genetic information in their family has great power.
