La Bouche (La Boucher) - a famous musical duo, which consisted of Melanie Thornton and Lane McCray. Not a single disco in the nineties of the last century could do without their songs. The clips of "La Bouche" were played around the clock on music channels. Where are they now? How did they become popular? You will learn about this from our article.
Start
The history of the group La Bouche (La Boucher) began in the nineties of the twentieth century. The group's golden line-up was Melanie Thornton and Dylan McCray. The group's repertoire includes tracks in the style of dance, as well as pop, R&B. Nevertheless, when we hear the name of this group, the tracks of the end of the last century from discos around the world immediately come to mind. Two of the band's biggest hits, Sweet Dreams and Be My Lover, are instantly recognizable.
Both members of the group were of American origin, but fate decreed that Dylan and Melanie began to live in Germany. The soloist of the group was born in Alaska and ended up in Germany while serving in the US Air Force at one of the bases in Germany. Staying there for permanent residence, he first tried himself in the rolerapper (Cold Cut) and gained some popularity.
Melanie was born in Charleston, South Carolina. From early childhood, she made progress in singing, dreamed of becoming famous as a singer. Having moved to Europe, Melanie conquered the local audience with her charm. She performed mostly jazz compositions.
Sweet Dreams
Once energetic young people were noticed by the FMP Studios team, since it was their images and vocal data that best suited the concept of a musical project called La Bouche (La Boucher). Finally, in May 1994, the hit Sweet Dreams saw the light, instantly getting into the top charts of many European countries and even the USA, and not leaving them for a long time! Under the pressure of the energetic German group "La Boucher" even the United States could not resist, which is usually not happy with foreign performers on the first lines of their charts. In March 1995, the world saw another hit of the group called Be My Lover. The single, like its predecessor, conquers the tops of all world charts.
Popularity
Both hits quickly became gold, and after their deafening popularity on the world dance scene in the summer of 1995, the group's album "La Bouche" (La Bouche) Sweet Dreams was released. The album was originally released in Europe and later in the US. As expected, the songs of "La Bouche" immediately hit the top of all the top charts in the world. The group's success was overwhelming even in the US. This level of popularity is stilla dream and an impossible task for foreign performers.
At the end of the same year, a remix album called All Mixed Up was released. A brief lull followed, during which the band released one single, Bolingo (Love Is In The Air). In the fall of 1997, the group saw the light of a new hit - You Won't Forget Me. In November 1997, the band released another album - A Moment of Love, which contained 9 previously unreleased songs, 3 remixes and two hits from previous albums. Naturally, the main part of the tracks from the album are songs for discos and parties. In the winter of 1999, another single was released in the homeland of the group - S. O. S., which had already been released in the previous album about a year ago. At the beginning of the new millennium, the group's vocalist decides to leave the band and pursues her solo career. A new vocalist Natascha Wright joined the band, and in the spring of 2000 a track called All I Want was released.
Ready To Fly
The ex-soloist of "La Boucher" solo career went up the hill. In the fall of 2000, she presented her single Love How You Love Me to the public, and in the spring of 2001, the single Heartbeat. In April, her solo album Ready To Fly was released. Further more. In the fall, another single by the singer called Makin' Ooh Ohh (Talking About Love) was released, and her new single called Wonderful Dream (Holidays Are Coming) is planned to be released. In the future, a repackaged album, Ready To Fly, was planned to be released with many new songs.
But life, as usual, has made its own adjustments. November 2001The whole world was shocked by the news of the crash of a business class plane in the mountains of Switzerland. As it turned out later, the legend of the nineties, Melanie Thornton, tragically died during the plane crash. The singer seemed to have a premonition of an imminent death. Shortly before her death, she said that there is no guarantee whether the next day will start or not, so you need to live every day of your life as if it were your last. The title of her latest album, by the way, translates as "ready to fly".
La Bouche and new vocalists
The La Bouche world tour with new vocalist Kayo Shikoni and Lane McCray took place, but the band, unfortunately, did not release new material. Some sources say that new material with the participation of Natasha Wright was recorded, but its release was delayed due to the tragic death of the first soloist Melanie Thornton. According to reliable data, several unreleased songs with Melanie's material have survived, but whether they will be released or not is not yet known. In 2008, Dana Ryan appeared in the group. The European tour has begun. In August 2009, the La Bouche team went on a tour of the clubs in Chile. In Latin America, the group is still incredibly successful.
In the fall of 2006, the release of a musical by the producer of the group "La Boucher" Frank Farian under the name Daddy Cool took place in the UK. This release, of course, included three of the group's most famous hits. For the show in Germany, Farian specially built a huge theater equipped with the most modern technical innovations at that time.

Unfortunately, very few originals of ancient Greek sculpture have survived to this day. Even Apollo Belvedere, considered by many art critics to be the pinnacle of ancient culture, has survived only in a Roman marble copy. The thing is that at the dawn of Christianity, in the era of barbarian invasions, as well as in the early Middle Ages, almost all bronze statues of ancient Greek masters were mercilessly melted down
The treble clef is a symbol of art and a dubious tattoo
The treble clef in its usual form appeared in the sixteenth century, when instrumental music was born. But its prehistory began at the turn of the first and second millennium of our era. Then the Benedictine monk Guido from the city of Arezzo in the Italian province of Tuscany figured out how to record music using notes. To designate a sound, it was necessary to invent some kind of symbol
