Mikhail Yurievich was born in 1814, it happened on October 3 in the capital. The father of the future writer brought his wife to give birth in Moscow from a small village. On the twentieth day after the birth, the boy was christened, and his own grandmother became his godmother. Lermontov's biography subsequently reports about her more than once. The most important thing that you can give a child, it was the grandmother who gave him. She insisted that the boy be named Mikhail, provided him with a good upbringing. Elizaveta Arsenievna loved her grandson passionately and wholeheartedly. When he was ten, his grandmother took Misha to the Caucasus. And a couple of years later, the future writer goes to Moscow to prepare for admission to a noble boarding school that functioned at Moscow State University. It was in the boarding school that Mikhail began to compose poetry, he was very fond of reading, studying various sciences.

AgedAt the age of 16, Mikhail entered the university in the capital. And his talent begins to take shape and mature quickly. He failed to graduate from the university, Lermontov decides to leave him in 1832. The poet goes to St. Petersburg. He wanted to continue his studies there. But the university refused to count the two years he spent as a student in Moscow. And Mikhail categorically refused to enter the first year again. Lermontov's life (the biography testifies to this) takes a sharp turn. He becomes a student of the School of Junkers and Ensigns. In the next couple of years, the poet did not write poetry, but created a historical novel, which, however, he never finished. Further, Mikhail is enlisted in the hussar regiment. It has not been published for a long time. When Alexander Pushkin tragically died in a duel, Lermontov was deeply shocked. This grief gave the world a famous poem by Mikhail Yurievich. This was followed by the poet's arrest and trial. Mikhail was rescued again by his grandmother with her secular connections. Friends of Alexander Sergeevich also came to the defense. As a result, the poet Lermontov (the biography tells about this) was demoted to ensign and transferred to serve in the Caucasus. He did not stay there for long, but this period of time was enough for the poet to feel the atmosphere and nature of the mountainous area. In the future, this is clearly seen in his works.

Lermontov returned to St. Petersburg and continued to create. It was thanks to a trip to the Caucasus that he created the immortal works "Demon"and "Mtsyri". And the result of writing the poem "The Death of a Poet", which caused so many problems, is Lermontov's familiarization with Pushkin's circle of friends and comrades. Thanks to this, Mikhail begins to publish.

Then he takes part in a duel. The event ended without casu alties, but the poet was again sent to the Caucasus (this is reflected in the biography of Lermontov). The most important consequence of this event is that Mikhail begins work on the novel A Hero of Our Time. The work was subsequently published in the form of short chapters, and only then in full. During the life of the poet, only one of his collections of poems was published in 1840.

Lermontov's life was tragically cut short in a duel. He died in the same way as his idol - Alexander Sergeevich. In the cold winter of 1841, the greatest man who gave the world many immortal works died. At least a brief biography of Lermontov (the most important of his life) should be known to every cultured person.
