Andrey Sklyarov: biography before research activities

The future director, researcher and publicist was born in 1961 in Moscow. His speci alty has nothing to do with history or cinema, as one might expect. From his youth, he was fascinated by space, and the future famous writer and researcher went to get an education in the corresponding speci alty. A graduate of a technical university, a physicist, until the beginning of the 90s he worked at the country's enterprises related to the space industry. In 1993, Andrey Sklyarov began commercial activities, and later engaged in research into the unknown.

As director Andrey Sklyarov himself admits, he did not work out with history at school. She did not arouse much interest in the submission of teachers. Memorizing dates and events seemed to be a matter devoid of logic, and therefore meaningless. In general, this subjectthe school curriculum did not find a response in the young soul. Already at the end of the “era of stagnation”, when society began to become curious about previously forbidden, closed topics, Andrey Sklyarov's interest in history manifested itself in a very unusual way. Alternative views, the religious-philosophical and esoteric orientation of historical research were new, because earlier these ideas ran counter to the materialistic doctrines of Soviet science, and therefore were forbidden. However, it was this side of history, its spiritual and philosophical aspects that became attractive to Sklyarov the researcher.

For a deeper knowledge of the subject, he had to plunge into the study of not only history, but also other humanities and natural sciences, such as sociology, biology, psychology and, of course, philosophy.

The desire to explore the spiritual aspects of the development of cultures and civilizations required the study of the relevant esoteric and religious-philosophical literature, both Eastern and Western. The result of this study was the first book by Andrey Sklyarov, Fundamentals of the Physics of the Spirit. It was first published in 2000 and has been reprinted several times since then, and today it is popular among fans of alternative philosophy.

Andrey Sklyarov himself positions it as a philosophical treatise, in which, from a rational and purely scientific position, he considers the idea of the unity of the material and spiritual world. The first expedition of enthusiastic researchers was very successful in Egypt and, as the director himself later admitted, literally stunned the participants with his discoveries. Her goal was, of course, the famous Giza necropolis and the thousand-year-old pyramids.

The result of the expedition was the film "Forbidden Themes of History: Mysteries of Ancient Egypt", where Andrei Sklyarov acted as a screenwriter and director. His first cinematic work represents another look at the well-known and, it would seem, the topic of the secrets of the ancient pyramids that has set the teeth on edge even for lovers of antiquity. The focus of the researcher this time was the technical and technological features of the buildings of Giza. Despite the hackneyed theme, the film turned out to be bright and exciting. A new look at historical facts through the prism of technical features and characteristics, an original interpretation, a lively presentation made the tape interesting and informative for a wide audience.

Andrey Sklyarov makes films dedicated not only to Ancient Egypt, but also to other civilizations. The interests of the director are very broad. His research also touched on the mysteries of biblical traditions, such as the mystery of the Ark and the Tower of Babel. He did not disregard the secrets of the civilizations of pre-Columbian America, he even dug into the pre-Inca era.
