How to draw mom with a pencil, the second option (hard)

1. We take a good mother's photo. We outline with a line the clearest contours of her photographic face. Unmanifested weak lines do not need to be drawn, for example, the wings of the nose and other small details. You can make the drawing the same size as the photo, and from time to time put a thin sheet on the picture and look at the light to see if the image matches the original.

2. We paint over the face with small even strokes with a dense layer of flesh-colored pencil. The contour of the lips is painted inside with pink. We draw the lower lip in a lighter tone, the upper one in a darker one.

3. Look carefully at the photo. Mark the shaded areas in the picture, select the color of the shadows. They should be different from the complexion, be darker or lighter.

4. Look at the photo even more closely. Find the highlighted areas and mark them on your drawing by painting in a lighter tone than the face. These zones will also be of different colors.

5. Now carefully examine and draw the hair, eyes, outline small details with barely visible strokes. The eyes should be placed symmetrically if the portrait is full face.

6. Mark the eye sockets with barely noticeable strokes, this will help to draw the shape of the eyes and eyebrows more correctly. Ears and nose should be equal in height.
