The history of Russian pop music knows many very tragic stories. During the rather sensational 90s of the twentieth century, several high-profile incidents occurred, as a result of which famous musicians and singers died. One of them was the young and promising Igor Talkov.
A few words about the musician
Igor Vladimirovich Talkov was born in the small town of Shchekino, Tula Region, on November 4, 1956. He not only sang songs, but also wrote lyrics for them that won the hearts of Igor's fans, young and old. Music filled my whole life, starting from school. Professional performances began much later. For the first time the musician appeared on the big stage in 1976. Igor Talkov (who was killed right during the concert) was known not only for his soft voice, but also for his very attractive appearance.
There were many strange cases in his career. For example, during a performance by a group called "April", in which Talkov sang at that time, he was hit hardcurrent through the microphone. It turned out that there were problems with the equipment. Igor even lost consciousness for a while, but soon came to his senses. After this unpleasant incident, he pre-wrapped the base of the microphone with electrical tape for quite some time.
The musician's life was tragically cut short on October 6, 1991. It happened under rather strange circumstances. Therefore, the question of who killed Talkov still excites the imagination of many people. There is an opinion that the culprit actually escaped responsibility. However, we can only settle for official facts.
Young talent Igor Talkov: who killed him?
It is worth mentioning the fact that just a couple of days before his death, the musician received threatening calls. However, it has not been established who did it. The singer was killed in the Leningrad Palace of Sports called Yubileiny. And it happened before his performance.
The question of who killed Talkov is open to this day. After all, the circumstances of his death were rather strange and controversial. In addition, there is an opinion that the singer was not held in high esteem by high-ranking officials of a certain influential circle. On the day of his last concert, which never took place, a lot of musicians were supposed to take the stage of the Yubileiny. The performance was opened by the then-famous singer Aziza. However, her friend asked Igor to be the first to go on stage. According to her, Aziza simply did not have time to properly prepare. After that, Talkov called the singer's bodyguard to his dressing room. According to eyewitnesses, betweenthey got into a verbal conflict.
Who killed Talkov? The answer to this question seems obvious to many, since it was Aziza's guard who rushed to resolve the conflict, armed with a pistol. But not everything is so simple. The fact that Malakhov (the guard of the singer Aziza) returned with a weapon was reported to the singer by Valery Shlyafman, who served as the administrator of the group, in which Talkov performed at that time. The musician, in turn, took out his own gun, deciding to intervene in the current situation. He fired three shots at Malakhov, as he kept the guards approaching at gunpoint. However, the bodyguard managed to dodge, firing back twice. These bullets did not harm the singer. And here is another shot that sounded in the general brawl a little later, cut short the life of a young and very talented musician. It would seem that the situation is obvious. So why was Malakhov eventually found not guilty?
Who killed Talkov?
The ambulance doctors, who arrived on a call to Yubileiny, pronounced the death of the singer. The last bullet hit him right in the heart. But the examination later showed that traces of powder gases from the fatal pistol were on the shirt of that same Valery Shlyafman. Malakhov was acquitted, and the former administrator urgently emigrated to Israel, from where there was no extradition at that time. And only 21 years after Talkov's death, Valery gave an interview in which he says that all the accusations against him are groundless. According to Shlyafman, he was simply framed by "the powers that be." Therefore, the death of Igor Talkov still carries a lotriddles and omissions.
