All this radicalism around the new album took place in London, because Jon Bon Jovi at that time participated in the filming of the film The Leading Man, which took place at one of the London film studios.

Many of the songs on Destination Anywhere were inspired by events: the August 7 single talks about the murder of Bon Jovi's manager's daughter; the song Midnight in Chelsea is imbued with impressions of being in London; Janie Don't Take Your Love To Town isa kind of chronicle of the family contradiction of John himself, whose wife loved to make scandals right in the kitchen.
