Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Carol was created by DisneyToon Stuios in 1997. The first part of the animated film was a great success and the majority of viewers liked it, so the animators decided to create a sequel. The main characters of the cartoon are taken from the eponymous fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast", which was written by the French writer Jeanne-Marie Leprince de Beaumont, who lived from 1711 to 1780.

Storyline

After the enchantment was removed, life in the castle changed. Once household utensils again acquired their human appearance. And the enchanted prince turned from a terrible beast into a handsome, stately young man. In the film adaptation of the fairy tale "Beauty and the Beast: A Christmas Carol" the characters are preparing for a festive grand ball. It should take place in the palace of the beautiful Belle and Prince Adam.

During the preparations, Madame Pott has a nice conversation with Chip and tells him a fascinating story, which took place just before Christmas. It talks about how, as a guest in the castle of a formidable monster, Belle decides to give the owner a festive surprise. The servants, hoping to free themselves from the spell of the sorceress, pick up this idea and help the girl in every possible way. The organ named Forte is not happy with the idea: notes of cheerful melodies are heard from all sides, which is why his crescendo is completely inaudible. He intends to prevent Belle from carrying out her plan, since Forte does not want to become a human again. And it’s not at all difficult to disrupt the holiday: the enchanted prince does not like Christmas and a decorated Christmas tree. But Belle's tenacity can be envied, she does everything to make the festival take place, and her newfound friends help her in this.
