Volontir Mihai Ermolaevich was born in 1934, on March 9th. His homeland is the village of Glinzheny, located on the territory of the Kingdom of Romania (now it is Moldova).

In 1957Mihai became a participant in the republican amateur performance review. The first performance in which he performed on the stage of this institution was called Kiritsa. And for the entire theatrical career, our hero has played over 120 roles. First film roles
The film career of Mihai Volontir began in 1967 and immediately with the title role. In the Moldavian comedy "Need a Gatekeeper", he successfully reincarnated as Ivan Turbinca, a soldier in the tsarist army.
The second picture with his participation was released in 1968. We are talking about the dramatic film "This is a moment." Volontir's character is a young vagabond and romantic named Mihai. He voluntarily joins the fight against the Francoists.
In the period from 1969 to 1978, the filmography of the Moldavian actor was replenished with seventeen works. Among them are the drama "Bridges" (Petrake), the picture "The Root of Life" (collective farm chairman) and the political drama "Centaurs" (Evaristo).
"Gypsy": the film that won the hearts of the audience

Gypsy is a film released in 1979. The main roles in this family melodrama went to Mihai Volontir and Clara Luchko. Both the Ukrainian (Soviet) actress and the Moldavian actor managed to create bright and realistic images. Budulai Romanov is a strong-willed gypsy who is used to traveling around the world insearch for freedom and simple human happiness. He falls in love with a Russian woman Klavdiya Pukhlyakova.

M. Volontir got married when he was not even 20 years old. His chosen one was a young actress Efrosinya Dobynde. Soon the couple had a common daughter. The baby was named Stella. She has grown up a long time ago. Stella did not follow in the footsteps of her parents, but chose a diplomatic career.
Currently, the only daughter of Mihai Volontir lives inFrance, works at the Embassy of Moldova. The famous artist has a granddaughter named Katalina.
Death
In the late 1990s, M. Volontir was diagnosed with diabetes. This disease was accompanied by complications (impaired vision).
In the summer of 2015, the actor (Budulai) was taken to the clinical hospital in Chisinau. He was under the control of the best doctors. However, they failed to help the artist.
September 15, 2015 Mihai Volontir left this world. He found his last shelter at the Central (Armenian) cemetery, located in the city of Chisinau.
