The future writer was born in Kherson to a Russian and Ukrainian family. From childhood, Boris showed a craving for art. Most of all, the boy was attracted to music. It was for this reason that Evseev tried to play various instruments (guitar, piano, drums). However, most of all the boy liked the violin, which he played from the age of six. In 1971, Boris Evseev graduated from the Kherson Musical College, which at that time was considered quite a prestigious institution.

In 1992, Evseev Boris Timofeevich (photo can be seen above) left the orchestra and was able to find a job according to his vocation. Boris received a position as a columnist in the Literaturnaya Gazeta. The writer approached his work with great passion. It is for this reason that already in 1999 Evseev became deputy editor-in-chief of the popular weekly Book Review. The writer did not lose momentum in his career, and two years later he received the position of editor-in-chief at the Chronicle publishing house.
At the moment, Evseev is a professor at the Institute of Journalism and Literary Creativity. He quite often conducts various author's lectures on modern literature, prose master classes, etc.
Among other things, Boris Evseev was awarded a whole bunch of different titles and titles. For example, a writer is a full member of the Union of Russian Writers, the Writers' Union of Moscow, the Executive Committee of the Russian PEN Club.
