Francoise Dorléac was born on 1942-21-03 in Paris. Her father is the famous French actor Maurice Dorléac, her mother is Rene Jeanne Simono, a theater and film actress. In addition to Francoise, two more daughters were born in this family: Catherine Fabien (1943-22-10) and Sylvia (1946). There was also an older sister - Danielle (mother's mother), who was born in 1939.

Since both parents were theater actors, it is not surprising that all the girls, one way or another, connected their lives with cinema and theatrical art.

In childhood, Francoise Dorléac was not very obedient and was a very active child. The age difference with her younger sister Catherine was 18 months. The girls lived in the same room and were very friendly, although there were small quarrels between them.

The sisters were very different in character: Francoise had a negative attitude towards smoking and alcohol, in foodwas abstinent, but Catherine, on the contrary, ate a lot, smoked cigarettes and was not averse to drinking.

The first significant work, after which Francoise gained fame, was the role in the film "Man in Rio". In the feature film "Tender Skin" she played the flight attendant Nicole. This is one of the most successful works of the actress. The film was nominated for the Cannes Film Festival, but did not receive the desired award. The Palme d'Or was awarded to director Jacques Demy for the film "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg", in which, ironically, Françoise's sister, Catherine Deneuve, played the main role. Francoise died at the height of her acting career. This tragedy occurred on 1967-26-06. Upon returning from filming, which took place in Finland, the girl was in a hurry for a flight to Nice airport. The haste became fatal. While driving a car, the girl lost control and got into an accident. The car overturned on the highway ten kilometers from Nice and broke out. The death of Françoise Dorléac was terrible - she was burned alive. The young actress was buried in the town of Saint-Port, where the girls spent their holidays in their childhood.
