How much enchanting attraction in Uncle Remus' Tales! This will be literature for adults as well. And the numerous clones that will appear in English-speaking countries, such as Winnie the Pooh, and all the heroes of cartoons and movies, are the merit of Joel Harris, whose "The Tale of Brer Rabbit and Brer Fox" gave impetus to the development of this direction. Everyone in the house of brother Rabbit got up early and began to prepare to meet the red-haired guest. They made dinner from delicious vegetables, and suddenly their rabbit runs and reports that a visitor is coming to them. But Fox did not dare to go to them. He pretended to be sick and sent an invitation to dinner to him through Brother Hedgehog. The next day, Brother Rabbit went up to the house of the fluffy, cunning owner and began to ask if he had cooked chicken. “Of course,” the Fox agreed, and brother Rabbit, on the pretext that they didn’t put dill in the hen, gave a goose and quickly ran away. Fox never managed to catch him.
Another evening
Uncle Remus told the boy a story called "The Tale of the Fox and the Frogs". The old man croaked amusingly, as amphibians do when they tempt the red beast to dive into the pond after the turtle. The Fox looks into the water, sees its reflection in it, taken for a fellow, and boldly dives. Then he came to his senses and quickly, until Brother Turtle dragged him to the bottom, got out to the shore.
Another fairy tale about the Fox
Uncle Remus always has a lot of surprises in store. Here, for example, is the story of the resin scarecrow. This is a fairy tale about the Fox, who almost caught Brer Rabbit. The red-haired animal made a little man out of sticky resin, put him on the road, and hid himself and peeps what will come of it. Brer Rabbit runs and politely greets the scarecrow, but it is silent.

Uncle Remus slyly suggests and sends the baby home.
