A trip to history

In May 1955, the Kyiv Mobile Theater was transferred to Simferopol. The building of the institution was located on Mendeleev Street in the Dzerzhinsky Club. In those days it was called the Crimean Ukrainian Music and Drama Theatre. In June 1955, the newly organized troupe played the first performance called "Strong in Spirit". After a short time, the repertoire of the Musical Theater in Simferopol was replenished with productions of The Merry Widow, Khanuma and Then in Seville.

The ballet performance "Gods and Men" was prepared on the occasion of the start of the new season.
