He was born on April 1, 1947 in what was then Dnepropetrovsk. Comes from the family of Sophia and Semyon Gross. His parents are ethnic Jews who lived on the territory of Ukraine. The father of the future composer went through the Great Patriotic War.
Anatoly Dneprov's father received two wounds. Later, a daughter, Larisa, was born in this family. Over time, she settled in Israel, taking with her children, husband and mother. Anatoly early began to study music. By the age of five, the boy had already learned to play the accordion and could easily reproduce the melody that inspired him.
Success in studies

Anatoly joins the Song and Dance Ensemble of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine and Moldova, Vasiliev was then the head of this group. In Kyiv, the musician, as a volunteer, attends courses at the State Conservatory, where he studies composition.
Music
In 1971, after graduating from a music school, Anatoly Dneprov created a jazz band on the basis of a pipe-rolling plant - the first such group in the city. Soon his tour of the country begins. The musician realized that in order to gain fame, he needed to move to Moscow. The capital met the musician harshly, parcels with provisions and odd jobs helped to survive.
Gradually, the talented performer and songwriter acquired the necessary contacts and his compositions became part of the repertoire of Nani Bregvadze, Iosif Kobzon, the Blue Bird, Flame, Gems, Cheerful Guys and Singing Hearts ensembles. Pavel Leonidov became the first poet in Moscow with whom Dneprov began to collaborate, he was a famous entertainer of his era.
He had a real poetic gift. Together, the poet and composer created the songs "Rowan Branch", "Oka", "The Whole World","And the Sea Sleeps", "Stars in the Meadow". During this period, the musician's masterpieces appear, including "Russia", "17 years", "I will not forget this summer", "Clouds in the river". In 1979, Mikhail Tanich writes words to the music of Dneprov and the song “Please” is born.
In 2006, the musician recorded the last disc called "Nostalgia for Russia". This work was dedicated to Armenia by Anatoly Dneprov. Tata Simonyan recorded a duet with him, which was called “My Armenia”. The singer fell in love with the mountainous small country and often visited it with concerts.
Private life
Anatoly Dneprov, while working with the poet Pavel Leonidov in Moscow in the seventies, met the impresario's daughter Olga Leonidova. She was fond of writing poetry. The girl became a co-author of the musician and took the pseudonym Olga Pavlova. Soon they began an affair, and in 1973 Olga and Anatoly entered into a legal marriage.
The first-born was born in the family a year later, who was named Philip. The Dnieper family had a second child when they lived in the USA. Son Pavel was born in 1983, and in 1986 daughter Elena was born. The eldest son of the Dnieper became an entrepreneur. Nothing is known about the career success of younger children.
In 2008, Anatoly Dneprov was going to perform in the city of Rostov-on-Don. The path went from Volgograd. Yulia Kurenkova, his director, was in the car with the musician.
The singer died suddenly on the road, near the town of Belaya Kalitva, Rostov Region. Doctors determined that the cause of death was a massive heart attack. The musician was 61year. The artist is buried on the territory of the Troekurovsky cemetery.
