The action of the series begins in 1974. Sonya Litvinova's family lives happily in abundance. Because of the underground business, the father has problems with thieves. A man is killed right on his birthday.

Now Sonya, her drinking mother and brother Igor are deprived of the contentment that the head of the family provided. Friends turn away from them, anda girl who dreamed of becoming an actress is forced to go to medical school.

One day she accidentally met a thief named Sergei Celentano. Sonechka has no idea about his "profession" and falls in love with him. Seryozha himself is also crazy about the girl and secretly takes care of her. They soon begin an affair.

Later, the guy finds out that on his orders, the father of his beloved was killed and breaks off relations with her.

Soon, Sergei is arrested on charges of this crime. Although his "boss" nicknamed the German has the financial ability to "buy" the guy from the term, he, contrary to the thieves' law, refuses to do this. Celentano's friends tell Sonya about this, and she steals money from the father of her we althy classmate Dima.

When a girl brings a “ransom” to investigator Lebedev, he guesses where Litvinova got the money from. Having collected evidence of her guilt, the man blackmails the girl. Sergei still ends up in prison, and his beloved becomes Lebedev's mistress.

Although Sergey gives her a letter asking her to forget him, she comes to his camp and spends the night with him.

In the future, Sonya has a son, but she believes that this is Lebedev's child, so she refuses him.

Meanwhile, Celentano helps one of the criminals to escape, for which he "buys" him from the term. The liberated hero returns to the German. At the same time, it turns out that a person who regretted redeeming him at one time for 5000rub., now stole 32,000 rubles from the common fund. The thief commits suicide and Sergei becomes the boss.

Meanwhile, Sonechka is being picked up by a soldier in a truck on a country road. They get into an accident and the young man dies. The girl examines the contents of the car and finds a batch of narcotic medicines. She kidnaps them and plans to sell them with her brother through Lebedev.

But the man betrays novice drug dealers Celentano and his people, from whom, it turns out, these drugs were stolen. Sergei orders to bring the kidnappers to the cemetery and bury them alive. However, when he sees his beloved, secretly from his "colleagues", he hires a homeless man to dig up the girl with his brother.

Worried about what happened, the hero gets drunk. In this state, Sonya and Igor find him and kill him.

To escape, the girl goes to serve in the police, and her brother is hiding in the outback.

Time passes, Litvinova receives a title and gets a job with Lebedev.

Chance brings her into contact with the paratrooper Yura. Sonya sees his desire to take revenge on the killers of his girlfriend. Therefore, she forces Lebedev to organize an escape for the guy and makes him her executioner.

Together they take revenge on their enemies. However, thieves will soon find out about Litvinova. While she is in the organs, they cannot touch her. But the criminals manage to deal with the mother and brother.

Sonya tells Lebedev about her son and thus draws him to her side. Later it turns out that their child is terminally ill and, despite their best efforts, he dies.

In parallel with all these events, Litvinovaromance with Yura. Later, the guy becomes a victim of thieves, and Sonya herself is forced to “leave her shoulder straps.”

To survive, she finds Dima, who now holds the post of secretary of the Komsomol city committee. With his help, the girl makes the necessary acquaintances and, becoming the mistress of an official, makes a career in the KGB.

Using her new power, she mercilessly cracks down on her enemies.

Closer to the final, Lebedev comes to Litvinova. From him, the woman learns that she once mixed up the children, and her baby is alive and well. Lebedev found him and adopted him. However, when she sees her son, Sonechka realizes that Celentano was his father. She takes him in.

On the day of the main crime-fighting operation, thieves set up an accident for the heroine and it is not known if she survived. In the finale, the tapes show that Sergei is alive, however, how his fate will develop further remains a mystery.

Before you start reviewing the reviews of the series "Defiant", you should find out who starred in it.

The role of the main character was played by an aspiring actress - Sonya Metelitsa. This is her first role in Russian cinema. Prior to that, she mainly starred in Polish projects.

Celentano was played by Sergei Tkachuk ("Quiet Flows the Don", "The Life and Adventures of Mishka Yaponchik"), and the vile Lebedev was played by Alexander Pashkov ("Vasilisa", "Run, don't look back!").

Despite the PR,most critics did not even comment on this project. This situation is quite natural, because this is a television series, and thousands of them are filmed every year and it is simply physically impossible to devote reviews to each of them. Moreover, "Defiant" could not stand out against the background of the same type of crime dramas.

At the same time, most of the film sites and forums provided rather meager information about this project. In separate articles there are excerpts from interviews with crew members, and, as is customary in such cases, they mainly praised their work.

But on "KinoPoisk" reviews of the series "Rebellious" are not so numerous. But there the project is estimated at 5.510 points out of 10.

What's wrong with the plot?

If we look more closely at what the audience writes about the picture, most of the responses are negative. Most of all, it was the content of the episodes of the series "Defiant" (2017) that got it. Reviews about them are the most eloquent.

Viewers agree that the first 4 episodes are really interesting, but the plot of all subsequent episodes is absurd. Some commentators admit that, having seen what nonsense the project turns into after the 4th episode, they stopped watching it.

Perhaps such a dramatic change can be explained. As you know, when funds are allocated for a TV project, at firstseveral pilot episodes are filmed on them. They are shown to test audiences and producers. Based on their reaction, a decision is made: close the project or continue filming.

Despite all the shortcomings of the script of the film "Defiant" (2017), the series managed to collect good reviews. Most of all, the merit of the leading actors is in this.

So, for example, most people didn't like Sonya as a heroine. At the same time, the audience admitted that, despite their obvious antipathy towards Litvinova, they simply could not take their eyes off the actress Sofia Metelitsa. Her unusual touching beauty captivated not only the main characters, but also viewers.

At the same time, the majority of commentators had a lot of complaints about the heroine. First of all, this is that she herself is guilty of the death of people dear to her, except for her father. The criminals offered her peace several times, however, each time she declared war on them, and contrary to both Soviet and thieves' laws.

It is paradoxical that the Defiant herself was morally worse than her enemies. Everything she has achieved in life has been donethrough the bed, and Sonechka did not care whose families or lives she was destroying.

Even if you put aside her immoral behavior, it is worth considering that the girl was not shy about breaking the law and harming the innocent, if it was in her interests. So, she stole the drugs and planned to put them into circulation, knowing the possible consequences.

And after all this, her resentment at the thieves who were going to punish her for the cause looks rather satirical.

It's paradoxical, but at every stage of life the heroine was given a chance to find happiness. However, every time she, blinded by ambition, missed him. And even in the finale, having found her lost son, and having learned that he was from a loved one, Sonechka did not draw conclusions, for which she received a well-deserved punishment.

Which of the characters of the project was most liked by the audience

Having considered the leading lady and her heroine, you should find out other reviews about the actors of the series "The Defiant" (2017).

The film once again helped attract the attention of such artists as Sergei Tkachuk and Alexander Pashkov. Although both play characters with a dubious reputation, their characters are more sympathetic than Sonechka.

In separate reviews, some viewers admit that they started watching the project only because of personal sympathy for Tkachuk. Other reviews note that this artist, after the role of Mishka Yaponchik, quite often began to appear in the role of criminals.

At the same time, his hero - Celentano causes a lot of sympathy and sympathy. Moreover, some commentators felt sorry for him because he “fell in love with such a monster.”

As for the character of this character, most agree that he is a fairly holistic nature. Growing up in an orphanage, Sergey chose the thieves' law for himself and remained faithful to it almost always.

Sonya was the only weakness he was aware of and tried to fight against. By the way, the series draws a parallel between the love of Celentano and the German. Both lost their heads at different times, but Sergei did not betray his convictions.

The second favorite among the audience was Lebedev. Many in their reviews call him the most written character. Unlike Sergei, he is not so honest and courageous. However, he makes up for these shortcomings with resourcefulness.

Unlike other characters, this one perfectly understands the essence of the laws of society and the underworld and the lack of fundamental difference between them.

Like Celentano, Lebedev loves Sonechka as much as he can afford. And the fact that he is constantly trying to betray her is the essence of his nature, he is not able to live differently.

Paratrooper Yura was not particularly liked by the audience. Some even noted that he was an extra character and did not affect the plot in any way. But Dima, who is in love, is sincerely sorry.

He dreams of Sonya all his life and is ready to do a lot for her. However, the girl only exploits him.

Will there be a sequel?

Before the project was over, it wentinformation about the forthcoming sequel. How true these rumors are is unknown.

Food for them was given by the open ending, which caused controversy in the reviews of the series "The Defiant". How the project ended is not really clear, since the audience is not shown whether the heroine died or not. It is also unclear how Sergey survived, whether he knows about his son, and what is his role in the final accident.

Heated debate in the comments largely concerns the expediency of the second season. After all, in fact, Sonya reached her edge. If she had survived, how would her fate have developed: would she go looking for a new lover in order to pursue a career further? Or, having learned about Celentano, would she try to kill him or return him? Or maybe she would fool Dima again?

All these scenarios are unlikely to interest viewers. And the fate of Sergei does not bode well. He lost his beloved, and he is not able to give anything to his son. So an open ending is probably the best the writers could come up with for this convoluted and absurd story.
