It's 1845, when two British ships set off in search of the Northwest Passage through the "Arctic". Their names are "Erebus" and "Terror". After some time, the ships get stuck in the ice, and their crew members have to deal with diseases, harsh natural conditions, lack of food, and also with some hostile force that timeoccasionally appears as a large polar bear.

It is noteworthy that the series is based on real events. We are talking about the polar expedition of the British explorer John Franklin, who died in the ice of the Arctic.

11. "House Arrest"

Another successful domestic project is the television series "House Arrest", which was released on TNT. Its creator, Semyon Slepakov, told a hilarious story about Arkady Anikeev, the mayor of the fictional city of Sineozersk, who was detained while taking a bribe.

According to a court decision, he is sent under house arrest at the place of registration. So he ends up in a communal apartment in which he spent his childhood. He is immediately abandoned by his wife, to whom all the property is recorded, while in a communal apartment the mayor runs into his childhood friend Ivan Samsonov, who mocked him all the time they lived together. Forgetting past disagreements, Anikeev decides to make a new mayor out of Samsonov to help him get out.
