On January 10, 1966, the future vocalist, songwriter, leader of the group "Different People" Alexander Vladimirovich Chernetsky was born. He was born in the city of Kharkov, in which the composition of the rock group was formed. However, later, when the rocker moved to the northern capital, he took on new musicians.
School years
From early childhood, Alexander Chernetsky became interested in football, which he began to seriously engage in at school. Especially for this purpose, the boy was enrolled in the sports class of the school, where he had to train every day all his free time from lessons.
Then, in his school years, Alexander liked the works of Vladimir Vysotsky, the love of which made him learn to play the guitar.
In 1983, when the musician turned 17, he graduated from a secondary school.
Attempt to enter college
Alexander's further goal is to go to medical school. In my hometown, being enrolled in a local university turned out to be impossible because of the huge flow of people who wanted to get there. Then Chernetsky went toPoltava to their relatives in order to enter the institute located there.
Before entering a higher educational institution, its administration organized a competition among applicants, the essence of which was that they had to show their artistic, vocal, artistic or other skills. Those who won the competition were given an advantage in the exam if they had equal scores with other applicants. It was here that an interesting and unfair incident happened to the future musician.
Before his speech, Alexander Chernetsky prepared a song that he was going to sing for the public, but he was prevented by an applicant speaking in front of him. The fact is that he sang some song about the Komsomol. Alexander didn't like it very much. Whether in spite of this kid, or contrary to the whole system that existed at that time, he decided to sing a song of his own composition, written on the basis of the stories of his acquaintances who returned from Afghanistan. The song was called "My friend returned from Afghanistan yesterday." After the performance, the entire hall, in which there were about one and a half thousand students, as well as teachers, applauded Alexander vigorously. But this did not save him - he received an unsatisfactory mark for the entrance exam.
And later, Alexander Chernetsky, whose biography from the point of view of the Soviet authorities had already been soiled, was called to the internal affairs bodies. The policemen and the prosecutor interrogated the young man about the song he sang before entering the institute. Since the participants in the warAfghanistan was given a non-disclosure agreement, the police tried to find out from Alexander who told him about the war, about what happened there. Law enforcement agencies tried to get information from Chernetsky not only about the Afghans who told him secret information, but even about the girl Sveta mentioned in the song. Chernetsky did not say anything, writing during interrogation that the whole song was his invention. However, it was precisely because of this act that the father of the guy was not hired for a secret enterprise.
First groups
After graduating from school, Alexander Chernetsky, whose photo was not yet in every magazine, began his musical activity. He gave preference to the rock direction. In the senior year of school, together with his brother, he created the Carbonari group, which lasted less than a year.
A little later, Alexander Chernetsky organizes the next team called "Rock Fan". In 1985, Sergei Shchelkanovtsev joined her, composing songs and playing the keyboard. The band is renamed Rock Front.
Different people
In 1987, Alexander Chernetsky, together with his bandmates, went to Riga for a music festival. Since there was no money, the guys got there as best they could - where they were just hares, and where they entertained the conductors with their works. In Riga, they failed to get to the festival right away, so Chernetsky and his team went to play for the people on Domskaya Square, where they were discovered by one of the founders of the festival.
The organizer, impressed by the performance, called the groupto participate in the event, to which the guys, of course, immediately agreed, calling themselves: “Different people.”
Despite the fact that Chernetsky and the group had to perform using only an acoustic guitar and a harmonica (plus a garbage pail was involved), they managed to win the hearts of the audience, received not only the audience award, but even took second place. This achievement seemed more significant when they remembered that the ChaiF group won the first place, and only with a margin of two votes.
Rock band success
A year later, the band already played and participated in the sixth Leningrad rock festival. "Different People" then performed last at the closing of the event. Well, after that they already began to take part in all such concerts, festivals and other events held in the country. They were always met and escorted off with a standing ovation not only in Moscow, but everywhere the rock band visited (including, of course, Alexander Vladimirovich Chernetsky). Photos of rockers have become recognizable.
Private life
Alexander Vladimirovich Chernetsky, whose personal life in 1990 sparkled with new colors in connection with his marriage, fell seriously ill. More precisely, he had an exacerbation of Bechterew's disease. An operation was urgently required, but there was no money. He was not abandoned by friends and acquaintances from the musical world, including Boris Grebenshchikov, Yuri Shevchuk and others. They gave charity concerts to collect assistance to Chernetsky, wrote on television. For the money raisedAlexander underwent surgery.
Alexander Vladimirovich married a girl named Inna, who later became the manager, producer of the Chernetsky team, as well as himself as a solo artist. The couple have a daughter.
Political views
In 2013, after the well-known events in Ukraine, Alexander spoke categorically against the foreign and domestic policies of his native country. At the same time, he urged Ukrainians to remain people, to believe in goodness, to love their homeland and not to betray it. Regarding the situation in the Donbass, Alexander Vladimirovich is of the opinion that the people living there are fighting against the oligarchs. He also believes that the east of Ukraine should have been immediately given the go-ahead for federalization, and such a path would have saved the country from war. “I am with them (meaning the residents of Donbass), and you decide for yourself,” the musician once said.
Alexander Chernetsky is still engaged in musical creativity to the great joy of his fans, fans and ordinary rock lovers.
