Drawing is not as difficult as it seems at first glance. Even a beginner can draw a still life "Apples"

Apples in a bowl

To draw a still life "Apples", you need nature. You can find a photo or create your own composition. What to do:

1. First mark on a piece of paper where the light comes from. This will help when you start painting the shadows.
2. Mark the horizon line, namely the table on which the bowl stands.
3. Draw an oval to serve as a bowl. For convenience, draw vertical and horizontal lines. Mark the location of the apples. Do all this with light pressure on the pencil, because sketches often need to be corrected.

Apple and pear

To draw a still life "Apple and Pear", you will also need either a photo or a nature. How to draw:

1. Draw a line that shows that the items are on the surface. It needs to be fuzzy to begin with, because some of it will have to be erased.
2. Mark where the light is located.
3. Mark the shape of the fruit, place for the twigs. To create a pear, first draw a circle and an oval that intersects with it. Smoothly connect the two shapes and erase the excess.
4. Give fruit a more defined shape. Show that the apples taper down and have a notch where the branch used to be.
5. Start coloring the shapes. As planned, one of the apples is burgundy, so it will be different. In the place where the figures touch, you need to show a shadow falling from each other.



6. To create a shadow, adjust the pressure of the pencil. Show highlights, they are located on the convex parts of the fruit, which are directed towards the light source. The shadow falls in the opposite direction from the light.
7. Add specks to the apples.

Jug and apple

In order to get the still life "Jug andapple next to vase", need:

1. As always, draw the horizon line and light source first.
2. Outline the approximate shape of a vase, a bowl of apples and, last but not least, a jug. At the containers, mark the bottom, although it will not be visible, but this will help when drawing the shape. Then the extra lines can be erased.
3. Draw the elements of the vase, its neck. Do the same with the pitcher and the apple.
4. Outline the location of the shadow. It must be curly, because it falls from the jug. The shadow from the vase and bowl of apple breaks as it falls on the wall. Mark the highlights.
5. Design a shadow, show the shape of the containers on the table.

Drawing in color

The still life "Apple", which is decorated, looks much more interesting. It can be absolutely any material. But not everyone knows how to draw with paints, so you should start with pencils. Felt pens are not suitable at all, since there will be no possibility of a smooth transition of colors with them.

To begin with, make a sketch with a simple pencil. The lines should be as pale as possible. Drawing with simple pencils, you can adjust the brightness by pressing. It's better not to touch the highlights at all.

Watercolor Tips:

• To paint a still life "Apples" in watercolor, you will need a palette.
• The lighter the color should be, the more water you need to mix the paint, and vice versa.
