Aidar Akremetdinovich Gainullin was born in Moscow in 1981. Every summer, the future musician went to his grandmother in a Tatar village near Ulyanovsk. He began playing the button accordion at the age of eight at a music school. Even then, Aidar's extraordinary abilities were revealed. At the age of eleven, he was made a scholarship holder of the New Names Foundation, and two years later - of the Russian Cultural Foundation. Aidar Gainullin received his first musical education at the Moscow College at the Institute. A. G. Schnittke at the rate of the teacher A. I. Lednev. Then the young man continued his studies at the Gnessin Russian Academy of Music and the Higher School of Music in Berlin. Friedrich Lips, one of the outstanding accordion players in the history of Russian music, became the musician's teacher at the Gnessin Academy.

Aidar Gainullin has repeatedly been the winner and prize-winner of prestigious Russian and international festivals. He won his first victory in 1992 at the V Moscow Open Competition. Following her, throughout the 1990s, he took first places at Russian-level competitions held in Moscow, Ryazan, and Belgorod. In the 2000s, the bayanist began to win at European competitions - in Germany, Spain, Italy, Finland, Great Britain. In 2003, as a result of his active creative work, Aidar's name was included in the Golden Book of Talents of Russia.

As a musician-instrumentalist, Aidar Gainullin gave concerts in many countries of the CIS and Europe, Asia, and the USA. His schedule is still very busy. During June 2016, Aidar Gainullin managed to perform in the halls of several German cities, St. Petersburg, the Kremlin, the Evgeny Vakhtangov Theater. In July, he took part in the chamber music festival in the Karelian city of Kostomuksha.

The musician is distinguished by wide creative connections and willingness to participate in joint projects, often very unexpected ones. The bayanist performs a lot together with pianist Denis Matsuev. In March 2016, they performed on the stage of several cities in the Orenburg region, where they received a warm welcome from the audience. He recently performed as a jazzman on the stage of the Kremlin Palace. Interestingly, the idea of Denis Matsuev does not involve rehearsals. The pianist says that no one knows about the content of their concert program. As an actor, Aidar Gainullin took part in the productionplay "Genesis No. 2" by Ivan Vyrypaev. The bayanist worked together with the singer of Tatar origin Zulya Kamalova, who lives in Australia.
