The famous Zapashny dynasty has existed for more than one hundred and twenty years. At the beginning of the twentieth century, their great-grandfather performed in the circus arena. Grandfather - Mikhail Zapashny - was an acrobat and wrestler. Father W alter, who died in 2007, and uncle Mstislav worked as trainers. Edgard Zapashny, like his brother Askold, began to enter the arena at an early age. By the mid-1990s, future celebrities could already perform not only as trainers, but also as tightrope walkers and acrobats, and even as jugglers on horseback. Together with their parents, the boys toured as employees of the Russian State Circus.

The eldest son of W alter Zapashny - Edgard - was born on July 11, 1976 in the city of Y alta. He made his debut in the circus arena in 1988 in Riga. After she and her brother graduated from high school, the family went to work in China. In these difficult times for the country and the circus, in 1991, the Zapashnys were offered a very lucrative contract that gave them the opportunity to save their animals from starvation. Especially for this family troupe, the Chinese builta small summer circus in the Safari Park, near the city of Shenzhen.

Childhood

Edgard could not be called a diligent child, in contrast to his brother, who was always more calm. Edgard almost always got it from his parents, because it was he who was the instigator of various pranks. Dad - W alter Zapashny - always raised his sons in severity.

He checked their diaries daily, sometimes he praised them, encouraged them with expensive gifts, but sometimes he punished them. Even when the sons became students, the father continued to supervise their studies.

Edgard has never been in conflict. This character trait is characteristic of him to this day. However, in companies, he always sought to become a leader, working for the positive. Gathering children around him, the eldest son of W alter Zapashny constantly took part in sports competitions. The exact sciences were also easy for him. In mathematical Olympiads, Edgard often won first place. And although the boys changed enough schools, moving with their parents from city to city, this did not affect their studies.

Own show

Together with his father and brother, Edgard Zapashny traveled on tour to Japan and Mongolia, Hungary, Kazakhstan, Belarus. Returning in 1996 from China to Russia, the family was out of work. And they had to earn a hundred dollars per performance in commercial programs. And in 1998, after celebrating his 70th birthday, W alter Zapashny wished to pass the ride Among the Predators to his sons.

After working like this for a while, the brothers got excited about the ideacreating your own show. Edgard Zapashny, who is more prone to commerce, met almost all famous producers. However, no one agreed to work with their project to turn the circus into a profitable show. Only Alexander Tsekalo became interested in this, but relations with him somehow did not work out. And then Askold Zapashny and Edgard Zapashny themselves started looking for an investor.

Family Council

At first, the brothers began to learn from private distributors, for which they entered a commercial troupe and began touring throughout Siberia. And at the beginning of 2003, Edgard Zapashny convened a family council, at which it was decided to register his company. Now they could enter into an agreement with any circus, bypassing the Russian State Circus. It was difficult at first. The first tour failed miserably. But gradually the audience began to go to the show. In the summer, the troupe performed in big cities, and in the fall they traveled around the peripheries.

First success

By 2005, Edgard Zapashny, whose photos had already begun to appear in glossy magazines, fully paid off all the costs of the project. And by 2008, he prepared a new show. It was called "Zapashny Circus in Luzhniki". The brothers came up with the script themselves. Askold acted as a screenwriter. For the performance at Luzhniki, according to Edgard's plan, two arenas were installed so that the artists would work in parallel. The show also featured a ballet troupe.

Education

Edgard Zapashny graduated from high school in Y alta. He speaks good English and also speaks Chinese. Apart fromcircus career, the trainer is also engaged in his education: he graduated from the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Law in Moscow. In her free time, she likes to play bowling and billiards.

Projects

The brothers created the "Zapashny Brothers Circus", a large number of exciting circus shows, such as "Colosseum", "Camelot", "Sadko", "Camelot-2: Viceroy of the Gods", "Legend". And in 2007, Edgard took part in the King of the Ring tournament on Channel One. The final fight with Evgeny Dyatlov was won by Zapashny. Edgard, whose personal life is still not settled, according to him, has not yet met a girl whom he would truly love. Although, according to friends, recently he has changed a lot. Moreover, Edgard Zapashny, who walked with long hair tied in a ponytail for a long time, cut his hair.

Achievements and awards

In 1999, the eldest son of W alter Zapashny was awarded the title of Honored Artist. In 2001, he became a laureate of the national award "Circus", and in 2002 he was awarded the prize of the Moscow government. In addition, Edgard is the winner of three international festivals, including circus art, held in Yaroslavl in 1997. His trick, called the "leap on a lion on horseback," was listed in the Guinness Book.

According to the mother, her boys are not picky about food. Edgard's favorite dishes are barbecue, dumplings and potato pancakes. Literary preferences - detective stories, primarily D. Chase. Edgard is well versed in music. Most often, he listens to Michael Jackson, whom he has loved since childhood, admiring his talent, Linda and Philip Kirkorov. Of the musical groups, Queen is preferred, etc.

Private life

Despite such great popularity, a successful career and financial security, Edgard has not yet received from life. Unfortunately, his "personal front" has not yet been arranged: this circus artist has no family yet. He has not yet managed to meet the girl whom he would want to call his half for life. Edgard takes marriage very seriously, believing it's never a good idea to get into a certain relationship, starting a family just because it's time for it. The wife of Edgard Zapashny, according to him, should be the only one and forever. In his opinion, a relationship that will have to pay for the rest of his life is the biggest mistake.

Edgard always cites his parents as an example. W alter Zapashny met his wife when he was already fifty-eight, but they lived happily for many years.

Loves

According to the trainer, there were three big loves in his life. The most serious love came to him at the age of eighteen in China, where Edgard worked with his family in the circus. The girl was a Chinese woman, an employee of the Safari Park. W alter Zapashny helped her by teaching her how to handle animals. After a mutual feeling arose between the young people, they began to live together. For more than a year and a half, Edgard lived with her in a civil marriage, but then due to circumstanceswent back to Russia. Six years later, during another tour in China, he again met his former love, who is still not married. After talking, the young people parted again, keeping warm memories of the meeting.

Edgard Zapashny prefers not to talk about his second love, which in its own way changed his personal life. According to the artist, it’s wrong to talk about your girls, especially those with whom you lived together for some time. In general, the trainer prefers to keep his personal life a secret, saying that he has something to be proud of besides this.

Therefore, his fans can only guess who their idol is currently dating. For example, quite recently in Thailand on the island of Phuket, a curious couple was photographed by paparazzi in a nightclub. They were Edgard Zapashny and Slava Demeshko, a long-haired blonde with a model appearance, whom his fans immediately called his new girlfriend. However, the artist himself does not make any comments on this matter.

Whether this circus performer today has a serious romantic relationship with any representative of the fair sex or not, it is impossible to say for sure, but judging by the fact that he devotes almost all the time to work, the answer is rather negative. At the same time, Edgard is not a conservative. He fully admits the institution of civil marriage, especially since he already had such an experience in his life. Zapashny lived for many years with a woman whom he sincerely loved. It was an aerial gymnast LenaPetrikov. Fans married them many times, but the couple did not reach the real registry office.

The main personality in the world of the circus, which Edgard always focused on, was his father - the late W alter Zapashny, who, according to his son, was one of the most talented trainers, and not only on a national scale. Another idol, given his circus adequacy and degree of popularity, was Yuri Nikulin, although Edgard personally saw him only once and, unfortunately, did not have the honor to talk to him. And the artist also singles out such American illusionists who work with predatory animals, like Siegfried and Roy.

For quite some time this team has been showing great performances in Luzhniki. These are not just programs, but full-fledged shows with the participation of a sufficient number of artists, a large budget, modern equipment, etc. And last year, according to the idea of the Zapashny brothers, the Idol World Festival was held in the arena of the large Moscow Circus.
