Of course, if you want to draw an exact copy of a fluffy pet with a slate pencil or charcoal, then you will have to learn a little, but recreating the most standard and simplest forms on paper will not be a problem. In this article, we will show you how to learn how to draw a kitten in just a few steps.

What you need

Before you start learning how to draw a kitten, you need to prepare the necessary tools:

1. A4 sheet of paper. It is best to take white, but not for the printer, but for drawing. An ordinary landscape sheet will do, as it is much denser and less translucent if you do not use pencils, but, for example, felt-tip pens or watercolors.
2. Black pencil and eraser. Never draw anything directly onto a clean sheet using a pen or marker. In case you have to make edits, you will be forced to start drawing the kitten from the very beginning. Regular eraser with easeremove jagged pencil outlines.
