There is an opinion that clowns are, in fact, unfortunate and dejected people, and, seeing all the flaws and imperfections of this world, they try to make the viewer laugh. They say that the "makeup" of a clown is like a facade, and behind it is pain. Like it or not - we do not know, but in this article we will look at how to draw a clown with a pencil: funny and scary.

Tools and materials

To draw a clown, you will need a blank sheet of paper, a simple pencil and an eraser. If you have everything you need already prepared, let's start drawing!

How to draw a clown step by step

1. First of all, draw the head - a big circle.



2. On the sides we paint on two small semicircles - ears. In the middle of a large circle, draw a small one that will serve as your clown's nose. Next, we depict the mouth - wavya line from one ear to the other.



3. Now let's see how to draw the clown's hair. To begin with, we draw a triangle on the head, at the end of which there is a small ball - this will be a cap. Draw curly hair from the base of the cap to the middle of the ears.



4. Go to the image of the eyes. To do this, on both sides of the nose we depict "windows", and inside them - one more. We color them with a simple pencil, leaving highlights.



5. Next, decorate the cap with horizontal, slightly curved lines. We draw a smile. And also - three hairs on the head of hair.



6. Now - how to draw a clown's torso. Starting from the bottom of the head, draw down a semi-oval. In place of the neckline, we depict lush flounces.



7. The next step is coloring the picture. To do this, you will need felt-tip pens / paints / pencils of red, yellow, green, blue, orange, and in general - the colors you want, the choice is completely yours. We paint the cap in red and white colors, alternating them. Hair and top flounces are yellow. The face and ears are orange, the nose and mouth are red, the lower flounce is blue, and the rest of the body is green. That's it, the clown is ready!

With the release of the film "It", and before its release, clowns are associated not only with goodness, laughterand fun, but also with chilling horror. Let's try to draw a scary clown.

• Draw a nose, and on the sides of it, on top, depict eyes tilted towards the nose to make the clown look angry. We leave the eyes empty, without pupils, this gives even more horror to the look.
• Add a wide evil grin and draw sharp fangs on the sides.
• Paint a contour around the mouth, depicting lips.
• Draw the circumference of the head.
