When did it all start? It all started with steps leading into the water and a grand piano floating across the expanses of the future foyer… This is a new building where the Histrion Theater moved into. After the repair, it was renamed the theater "Vernadsky 13", at the new address of the theater, so that the viewer could easily find it.

Dashing 90s

In fact, it all started much earlier, somewhere in 1987, when a very creative and young team of like-minded people brought up by Taganka wanted to create their own theater. At first it was called a creative center, then, having reached a new peak of professional growth, it became a studio theater, and then, in the 90s, the time of confusion came, economic crises rained down, there were not enough funds and many theaters survived only on the enthusiasm of the actors. Not everyone had the courage to endure this difficult period. For thattime, many of the actors have gone into more practical professions.

Theater director

Only the future director of the theater Elena Gromova, having received a diploma of graduation from VTU. Shchukin, stubbornly went forward and continued to develop it. Thanks to her efforts, the authorities of the district nevertheless came to the rescue, a philanthropist was found who invested in the murdered premises: the piano "floated" and a long dreary repair … And so, in 2000, in the fall, on Vernadsky Avenue, 13, the theater moved, recruiting a new troupe of young qualified actors.

Repertoire

Today the theater's repertoire is aimed at an audience of all age groups - children and teenagers, adults and youth. More than twenty performances are held here, of which 7 are for young people and adults, 15 for children. They are formed from three components - directing, music and choreography. Current repertoire:

• Drama-opera "Hamlet" - Shakespeare, from 16.
• "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" from 5 years old.
• "The Wizard of Oz" from 5 years old.
• "Puss in Boots" from 5 years old.
• "Girl for farewell" from 18 years old.
• "Witness must be killed" from 12 years old.
• "By the Pike" from 4 years old and other performances.

Theater composer

The main link in the theater is its director and artistic director - Elena V. Gromova. But the theater also has its own permanent composer -Varvara Evgenievna Kalganova. Together with her, more than fifteen performances for all ages have been released. Varvara Kalganova composes not only music, but is also the author of the libretto, for example, she created the drama opera "Hamlet" and the musical "The Little Mermaid".

Also, in addition to close cooperation with the theater "Vernadsky 13", she creates music for cinema and animation, an example is S. Kozlov's fairy tale "Black Pool", which was released by the studio "Magic Lantern", children's ballets, for example, " Cinderella" and "Thumbelina", they were staged by the choreographic studio "Chene". She is also the author of music for dramatic performances, for example, the production of the director O. Levkovskaya "Yvona, Princess of Burgundy" by the theater agency "Lecour".

Choreographer

The Vernadsky13 Theater is proud of its permanent choreographer Bulgakova Tamila Vladimirovna. She is a senior teacher of acting at the Moscow State Academy of Arts, where she once studied at the choreographer's faculty with Mayorov. During her studies, she practiced on MAHU students and GATKB artists, under the strict guidance of Kasatkina and Vasiliev. GATKB has been an artist since 1991. She came to Vernadsky Avenue 13 in 2003, and since that time all the numbers in dance performances belong to her. She also works as a teacher-choreographer in a theater studio at the theater.

Theater playwright

Voitsekhovskaya Evgenia Alexandrovna - actress and playwright. Received a state diplomaSchool of circus and variety arts, where she studied at the variety department. According to her scripts, the drama theater "Vernadsky, 13" staged seven fairy tales that are included in the repertoire of the theater, as well as the musical "Mowgli", where she became the author of the libretto. Voitsekhovskaya Evgenia is the author of the lyrics that sound in the performances. At the theater, in the theater studio, he works as a director-teacher. In addition to the theatrical load, Evgenia Voitsekhovskaya creates and publishes books for children, for example, "The Way to Listirangi".

Actors

"Vernadsky 13" - the theater is still quite young. The main cast consists of young talented actors, graduates of theater schools, as well as students and trainees - those who have completed their studies at the studio at the theater. But there are also experienced actors with more than 10 years of experience who have a lot to learn from young people. The talented play of actors has already won the hearts of the public, because the theater "Vernadsky 13", reviews of which sound only in positive tones, has its fans.

Cultural and leisure center

Since the theater is located in a residential area, it has taken on the function of a cultural and leisure center. Concerts of the "Souls of Fire" group are organized here, the works of artists and photographers are presented in the lobby. The performance was a success titled "One Day of Professor Chizhevsky" by Yuri Golyshev, it was created by the famous director and actor Alexei Loktev. The theater "Vernadskogo 13" staged the play "The Bench" by Gelman, Viktor Avilov took part in the production. Concerts of young performers are held here, performances are played, where the main participants are children.

Kids Studio

The theater has a children's theater studio called "Wings", in which professional actors, director, choreographer conduct classes with growing talents from 5 to 18 years old. It was organized in 2001. And after 7 years, groups were opened for the youngest children from 3 to 6 years old. Also, the children's theater on Vernadskogo 13 celebrates children's holidays, which kids enjoy visiting. "Vernadsky 13" is a theater where various events are regularly held, they contribute to leisure activities in a cultural way, popularize theatrical culture and form cultural values among young people.

The theater has extensive charitable activities. He cooperates with social and charitable organizations. Reviews in a positive way note the excellent acting, sound acoustics, beauty of costumes, cozy atmosphere. The production of "The Snow Queen" preserved the integrity of the fairy tale, there was no modern jargon. Beautifully decorated boxes with New Year's gifts were sorted out by the boys with a bang after the performance. Value for money corresponds to the content. The play "The Kid and Carlson" made me very happy. This is exactly how Carlson seemed to be in childhood - a cute red-haired hooligan. And the image of the Kid, played by the girl, turned out to be very touching. It is felt that the actors are having a lot of fun playing.

Only here is a very small buffet, a long queue, and there may not be enough food for everyone, so you need to take something with you, at least water. In the theater, each child is given a pillow so as not to sit on their parents' laps - it's very cute and comfortable, everyone can see everything.
