Her patients are not ordinary people with mental disorders, but dangerous mystical creatures: vampires, demons and others. One day, Emily meets a werewolf cop named Colin Geet.

Despite the fact that the bookCynthia Eden's "It Gets Hotter After Midnight" is positioned as a paranormal love story, in addition to the romantic line, there is also a detective story here, because Colin has to investigate a mysterious murder.

The second book in the Sins of Midnight trilogy tells a different story. This time, Kara Meloan is at the center of events, becoming the prime suspect in a series of brutal murders.

The protagonist of the third part of "Master of Midnight" is the demon Niall Lapen, whom journalist Holly Storm asks for help in another investigation.
