She graduated from the University of South Alabama, where she studied sociology and public relations while writing articles for a local magazine. After graduating with honors from the university, Cynthia Eden changed several professions: she worked as a teacher, a consultant in a college, an editor in a publishing house.
Eden's professional career as a writer began in 2005 with the first publication of her book. It was the novel Bite of the Wolf (not officially published in Russian, but the title can be translated as "The Bite of the Wolf").

First in a three-part series, It Gets Hotter After Midnight, written in 2008. The main character is a practicing psychotherapist Emily Drake. Her patients are not ordinary people with mental disorders, but dangerous mystical creatures: vampires, demons and others. One day, Emily meets a werewolf cop named Colin Geet.
