Biography

Lapeine was born in the Australian city of Sydney in 1970. He studied at the Institute of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1992. Six years later, at a party organized by an acquaintance, he met British actress Faye Ripley. They immediately began dating, and in 2001 they got married in Italy. Now the couple lives in London and has two children - daughter Parker and son Sonny.

Honest wedding

Mr. Lapeyne's career began before graduation. Three years before graduation, he starred in an episode of Alan Bateman's soap opera Home and Away (debuted in 1988). And a year after the release, he starred in several more television projects, including "Primitive Country" (1981 - 1993), "The Feds: Deception" (1993) and "JP" (1989 - 1996).

In 1994 the Australiandirector P. J. Hogan directed the comedy-drama Muriel's Wedding, in which Daniel received one of the main roles and thanks to which the world learned about this actor. In 2000, the actor took part in the filming of Simon Moore's fantasy mini-series The Tenth Kingdom, in which he played the role of Prince Wendell, the spoiled and arrogant heir to the throne of the fourth kingdom, turned into a golden retriever by the evil Queen. Encephalitis sufferer Wesley Claiborne Daniel Lapayne played in Avi Nesher's horror film The Ritual (2001).
