Andreev Vladimir Alekseevich is a native Muscovite. He was born on August 27, 1930.
Childhood
The family of the future actor lived on Bolshaya Spasskaya. Vladimir Alekseevich remembers how in the thirties he and his peers ran for a long time through the streets. In the courtyard of the house where the Andreev family lived, there was an old, dilapidated church. Nearby grandmothers prayed in it, and the yard where the children played was built in an abandoned cemetery.
Vladimir Andreev started working early. During the holidays, his friend's father, a geologist, took the guys with him on expeditions, where Vladimir earned his first money and thus helped the family. From the age of 14, he began to go to agricultural work to earn vegetables that fed the family from autumn to winter. It was not a burden to him, he was very proud that he could help the family.
During the war, having done his homework, he put on a work suit and stood at the machine. There was no time for football with the boys.
Craving for art
Vladimir's attraction to the theater manifested itself very early. In the basement of the house where the family lived, there was a red corner, and in it an amateur theater. A little later, Vladimir Andreev began to study in the studioHouse of Pioneers, which is very reminiscent of a professional theater. There was a "real" director and stage costumes. It was from that time that the future People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Andreev remembered the smell of backstage and makeup.
Studying at the institute
In 1948, a young man entered the Institute of Theater Arts. Lunacharsky at the acting department. Vladimir Andreev began to master the acting profession in the difficult post-war period. It would seem that not the most successful period for creativity. The country is in ruins. People are worried about their daily bread. Vladimir Andreev, whose biography could have turned out differently, during these years often recalled the words of his teacher A. M. Lobanov that the theater must always be loved, even when it does not deserve love.
Work in the theater
Since 1952, Vladimir Andreev has been an actor of the Theater. Yermolova. Since 1985 he has been the chief director of the Maly Theatre. In 1990, he headed the Yermolova Theater.
Master's Apprentices
In this team, directing and acting skills are always on top, the public's interest in the work of a wonderful team does not weaken over time. Vladimir Andreev is an excellent director, a good psychologist, he works very carefully and tactfully with the actors. The director and teacher works a lot with novice actors and hopes that soon they will become as famous as his famous students: Elena Yakovleva, Marina Dyuzheva, Viktor Rakov and others.
The play "The Young Lady-Peasant Woman" was staged on the stage of the theater not by chance. The fact is that Kristina Orbakaite studied at GITIS. Vladimir Andreev became her artistic mentor, and this performance is her graduation work. It was put by another student of the master - Natella Britaeva.
Private life
