Dmitry Efimov is the young pride of Tyumen, a wonderful actor, host of entertainment shows, inspirer and creator of the famous plastic theater "Europe".

MC from a young age

He was born in Tyumen on May 9, 1978. He studied at the 44th school, loved biology, geography, history. He did not appear in the excellent students and, like most boys, raved about astronautics. The extraordinary talent of the actor, who knew how to make the audience laugh and turn on like no other, began to show at a young age.

At the age of 15, Dmitry Efimov tried himself as a presenter, led discos and entertainment shows in a local recreation center, sincerely dreaming of a theater stage. The impetus for this goal was studying at the Tyumen State Institute at the Faculty of Acting. In parallel, Dmitry played on the stage of a drama theater, which he became an actor in 2000 (after graduating from an educational institution).

Dmitry's acting career

The first works on the stage were such performances as “Home!”, “Murder of Gonzago”, “Ekvus”, and real fame came to Dmitry after the role of Khlestakov played in “The Inspector General”. Everyone who was lucky enough to see this performance received great pleasure.from the talented game of Dmitry Efimov. The choreographic talent in the gifted young man was fully developed by the teacher Eduard Grigorievich Sobol, the chief choreographer of the theater, who to this day remains for Dmitry a close person, one might say, a second father. Efimov learned directing science from him - from a man with a capital letter, who infected Dmitry with dance, put a spark in him and showed him the right path.

Dmitry, who is an actor in a drama theater, manages to combine his main job with his lifelong passion, which is his brainchild - the Europa plastic theater, which a few years ago was a small amateur group. Close quarters, cassette recorders, emergency flashers as special effects, collection of scenery on our own, tailoring of costumes at our own expense - this is how it all began. Gradually, the dance show that Dmitry created during his second year of study turned into performances, then sponsors and a producer appeared. Today, the Dmitry Efimov Theater includes about 70 people: three main casts and a preparatory group.

The theater has excellent choreographic performances: "One Hundred Minutes to You", "Heavenly", "Mowgli", "Leave to Stay", "Coma", "Rain Man" and others.

"Europe" will conquer Europe

His productions are sold out not only in Tyumen and other cities of Russia, but also abroad. Russian choreography is also loved in the West. Dreaming of conquering Europe, Dmitry started small:took on European passers-by. For the 10th anniversary, the guys decided to dance near the Eiffel Tower. Turned on the music, people immediately pulled up. Several numbers had to be performed even as an encore. Yes, and earned 80 euros cheered up.

If we talk about money, in order to be afloat, you have to earn money by advertising dances, in nightclubs and at parties. And even in such commercial projects, the guys give their all one hundred percent, because they work for people, giving them a piece of their heart. Dmitry Efimov recruits guys into his team simply from the street, without any training and special education, focusing on the age criterion (15-23 years). At the casting there is a selection of those who understand what "Europe" is and are ready to dance here. The most important thing is the desire and the sparkle in the eyes, and the technique and stretching is a thing to come. Three weddings took place in the theater team, there are already young mothers. Not imagining life without dance, they leave the kids with their husbands and come to rehearsals. Over the years, the theater has managed to raise children for whom dance has become the meaning of life.

"Europe" is happiness

Teaching dozens of people to dance smoothly and simultaneously is not an easy job, so Dmitry Efimov, who has all the qualities of a skilled leader, sometimes resorts to the carrot and stick method. In addition, in addition to exhausting everyday rehearsals, it is required to prepare scenery, costumes, lighting. But the team knows how to set high goals and strives to achieve them. Theater "Europe" Dmitry Efimov -it is not only a dance school that wins many competitive medals and awards, but also a school of character, a single holistic "organism" with very warm, sincere relationships within. The participants themselves say: “Europe is happiness!” And looking at happy faces after hard rehearsals, where each dancer feels like the main link in the creative process, you understand that such people, in love with their hobby, will have an interesting and vibrant life.

Dmitry is happily married, his wife Julia lives in France. There she works, studies and designs clothes. He does not want to return to Russia, so Dmitry lives in two countries, because, being far from his homeland, he begins to feel very sad.
