Actress Lyubov Ivanovna Malinovskaya was born in Orenburg in the turbulent 1921, notable for the history of the Kronstadt rebellion. Like all people who were born in Russia at this time, many hard trials and difficulties fell on her lot. But, like many who had to fight adversity, she was a strong-willed and strong person and was able to achieve a lot in her long life.

Nothing is known about her childhood and youth. At the age of 19, she came to St. Petersburg (then Leningrad) to enter the Pedagogical Institute and ended up there on the same course with Lyubov Sokolova, who became her faithful friend and in many waysdetermined her future fate. The girls were even born on the same day, albeit in different cities. Together they entered the acting school at Lenfilm.

But, alas, it was not destined to finish it, the war broke out, and already in the second year, the girlfriends voluntarily went to the front. There they dug ditches and built fortifications on the Luga line. During the war, the friends also managed to work at the factory, and then together they survived the hunger of the besieged Leningrad.

After the war, they entered the All-Union State Institute of Cinematography (the famous VGIK) in the workshop of Boris Bibikov, among whose students were such brilliant actors as Nonna Mordyukova, Leonid Kuravlev, Nadezhda Rumyantseva and others. Malinovskaya graduated from VGIK in 1947 and immediately began working in a Moscow theater studio. But it was difficult for her in the capital: there was nowhere to live, she devoted almost all her time to work, and spent the night … on the windowsill in her own theater. Subsequently filmed the corner.

Once she went on vacation to Leningrad, and so she stayed there, having met a loved one, got married and soon gave birth to a daughter. There, Lyubov Malinovskaya continued her career, getting a job as an actress at the Leningrad Variety Theater. In films, Love began acting when she was 34 years old, and continued to work until 1998, when she was already 77 years old.

Immediately after the filming of the last film, Lyubov Malinovskaya had an accident in which she received four complex fractures. But even between operations, the actress continued to voice the role, which was later appreciated. She died in her beloved St. Petersburg in 2009 at the age of 87 and rests in the Northern Cemetery.
