American actor Anthony Quinn (photo can be seen in the article) is a two-time Oscar-winning artist and writer of Mexican origin. Throughout his career, he did not lose touch with his homeland, often came to his country and talked with loved ones for a long time.

The actor was born on April 21, 1915 in the small Mexican town of Chihuahua. Anthony's father - Francisco Quinn, an Irishman, did not have a permanent job. Mother, a representative of the Aztecs, was a simple woman without education. The family lived modestly, but little Quinn graduated from high school, and then began to study architecture at the fine arts studio. His teacher was the famous Frank Lloyd Wright, with whom Anthony even became friends. However, the architectural talent was not revealed, the training had to be completed.
Movie debut
At the age of twenty, Quinn Anthony decided to become an actor. Further development of events showed that the choice of profession was made correctly. The film debut took place in 1936 in the comedy film "The Milky Way", where the famouscomedian Harold Lloyd. Although Quinn Anthony played a small minor role, the director of the production, Leo McCarey, predicted a great future for him in cinema. At the same time, film producers also noticed the debutant, who soon began to send invitations.

Five years later, Quinn Anthony returned to Los Angeles and starred in his first life-changing film, for which he was awarded an Oscar in 1952. It was a motion picture directed by EliaKazan, where the actor played the revolutionary Eumenia Zapata, the brother of the protagonist. The second film for which Quinn Anthony won an Oscar was Lust for Life, directed by Vincent Minnelli. The film was made in 1957.
Zampano the Circus Strongman
In 1954, the actor moved to Italy, having received an invitation from Federico Fellini to participate in the filming of the film "The Road". Quinn Anthony played Zampano, the male lead. His character was a circus athlete breaking chains. The female lead, a young circus performer named Gelsomina, was played by Juliet Mazina.
In 1956, Quinn played in another Italian film called "Notre Dame Cathedral" directed by Jean Delannoy. Here Anthony also played the main role - the hunchback Quasimodo, in love with the gypsy Esmeralda.

The eldest son Christopher died at the age of two years, drowned in the pool. The remaining four are still alive and well.
C Katherine actordivorced in 1966. Some time later, Anthony married a second time. The chosen one was Yolanda Addolori, a costume designer who worked in the film project Barabbas the Robber. The new wife gave birth to her husband three sons: Lorenzo, Danny and Francisco. Two are currently alive.
Quinn's third wife was his secretary Kat Benvin. She gave the actor two more children, daughter Actinia and son Ryan. In total, Anthony had ten heirs. In addition, the actor has two illegitimate children from a little-known lady named Friedel Dunbar.
Anthony Quinn, whose children have become an integral part of his life, was happy to be in the circle of his heirs. The actor died at the age of 86 from throat cancer on June 3, 2001.
