Fantastic, unreal and a little fabulous world appears before the audience from the TV screen when watching the film "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus". The actors and the roles assigned to them subsequently became one. And the characters began to live their own lives.
Lilia quickly understood the nature of her heroine, so doubts were replaced by constant exclamations: “Stop! Taken! Great!”
Heath Ledger got the character of Tony Shepard quite easily: he sent a note to Gilliam asking him to take on this role. And she was assigned to him.
It was thanks to him that rehearsals became a real creative process, in which all participants in the shooting were involved. His improvisations brought the film to life right before our eyes.
