Actor Igor Dmitriev was born on May 29, 1927. He is a native of the city of Leningrad (now St. Petersburg). In what family was our hero brought up? They offered Igor admission without entrance exams. But he was not satisfied with this option. The guy asked to give him a copy of the certificate. After all, he wanted to enter another university. I must say that his request was granted.

Dmitriev applied to four Moscow theatrical universities. And only in two of them the guy was allowed to take exams. Both options did not suit Igor. He decided to try his luck at the School-Studio. Nemirovich-Danchenko, opened at the Moscow Art Theater. And this time everything worked out for the best. Our hero was enrolled in the course of Masalsky and Blinnikov.

Work in the theater

In 1948, Igor Dmitriev received a diploma from the Studio School. He returned to Leningrad, where he got a job at the Theater. Komissarzhevskaya. The young and talented actor was involved in various performances - "On the High Seas", "Lev Gurych Sinichkin" and others.
