Reconstruction at the Rossiya Theater radically transformed the layout of the hall. It would seem that comfortable, carefully planned seats for theatergoers should provide a beautiful view of the stage. Indeed, the visibility and acoustics in the theater are excellent: the rows are arranged in a fan, and the rise of the floor everywhere is sufficient for them to see well from any seat, and additional pillows help the children to sit higher. But there are exceptions for certain seats.
Having decided to go to the performance of the Rossiya Theater, it is better to study the layout of the hall before booking tickets. This will help you choose the best seats in accordance with the planned amount of money.
Parterre
In the central part of the two front rows of stalls, the full view is hindered by the fence of the service area in front of the stage. The best visual perception of the scaffolds is from the fifth row, from where the ascent begins. Visibility from all seats of the stalls is excellent in the Rossiya Theatre. The layout of the hall does not indicate, but, starting from the 11th, the rows are raised above the first ten. So the review in the eleventh is better than in the two previous rows. At the extreme places from 10 to 17 rows, the sound coming from the speakers is louder andmore intense than I would like for comfortable perception.
Balcony
The panorama of the spectacle from all the seats of the first row of the balcony is simply crossed out by the fence. The wall that hides the mixing console limits the field of view of the theatergoers to the four central seats (two on each side of the console) of the twelfth row. These places can be found on the diagram of the hall of the Rossiya Theatre. Otherwise, from the balcony, thanks to a significant rise, the stage is viewed superbly, and the performance is visible in detail.
