Production
Back in 2004, Lionsgate acquired the script for Warriors of the Light, written by Michael and Peter Spiering. A few months later, the Spiering brothers received an offer to direct the film from their own script.
Casting began in 2007. The candidate for the role of scientist Edward D alton, the protagonist of the film "Warriors of the Light", was selected for the longest time. Actors Christoph W altz, Christopher Eccleton and several other celebrities were considered for the role, but the choice of directors fell on Eaton Hawke. A fifth of the budget went to his fee.

Storyline
