Matt Stone is an American actor, screenwriter and film director born in Houston, Texas on May 26, 1971. He is the winner of three prestigious awards - "Emmy", "Grammy" and "Tony". Matt Stone is also known as the creator of the popular TV series South Park. He made a serial animated film with his friend Trey Parker.

Career start

Matt's father is economics professor Gerald Whitney Stone. Mother - housewife Sheila Luis Belasco. The future actor studied at the University of Colorado, at the end of the course he received a diploma in physics and mathematics. During his studies, Matt Stone became friends with Trey Parker, the young people had many common interests, both were fond of cinema. First Oscar

Songs performed by the DVDA are regularly included as soundtracks in films produced by Stone and Parker. Among other things, they both collaborate with the Primus group, whose history began back in 1999. Matt even produced the track NaturalJoe, and also appeared on radio programs featuring Primus chief Les Claypool.

In the fall of 2007, Trey Parker and Matt Stone acquired the rights to the Canadian television series Kenny-Spenny. They immediately used it, including some episodes in their productions.
