Childhood

On the tenth of August, one thousand nine hundred and eighty-six, a girl was born in Leningrad, in the Kalininsky district. Her parents called her a beautiful Russian name Polina. Her father and mother worked at the factory all their lives. The elder brother Roman also worked there. The girl was very attractive and surprisingly artistic. Therefore, the parents decided to send her to the Okhta Center for Aesthetic Education. In parallel with her studies at high school, Polina Filonenko learned the basics of acting there for seven years.

By the time she graduated from the educational school, the girl already knew for sure that she would become an actress. Most likely, Polina would go to enter the capital's university, but in the eleventh grade, our heroine fell in love and did not want to part with the young man. Therefore, she entered the "School of Russian Drama" in St. Petersburg, which, however, she never regretted.

Bright debut

The teachers of the School were the first to turn their attention to the talented girl. She is a lotduring her studies, she played on stage - Vera in the production of "The Last", Olya Meshcherskaya in "Easy Breathing", Galya in "Galya Ganskaya" and others.

In her fourth year, Polina Filonenko, whose biography is closely connected with creativity, took her photos to the Lenfilm studio. Less than two weeks later, she was invited to audition for two serious films - "Crime and Punishment" (for the role of Sonechka Marmeladova) and "Yar" (for the role of Lipa).

Polina Filonenko, whose filmography began with such serious work, admits that she was terribly worried at the audition of the film "Yar" by M. Razbezhkina. After all, she had to create a complex image of a village girl with a very difficult fate, who eventually committed suicide. In addition, playing this role, Polina touched the work of Yesenin himself! I must say that the young actress coped with the task brilliantly.

At the same time, Polina was overwhelmed with excitement and joy when she found out that she was approved for the role of Sonya Marmeladova in D. Svetozarov's film Crime and Punishment. She could not believe such luck, despite the fact that already at the first meeting the director told her that he had found what he had been looking for for so long - a charming, modest girl with clear blue eyes.

Polina recalls the shooting of this series with warmth and gratitude to the experienced director and famous partners - Elena Yakovleva, Yuri Kuznetsov. It was a real school of acting, which was very useful to the actress in her future work.

Rejection of series

The debut of the famous directors Razbezhkina and Svetozarov turned out to be so successful that the domestic cinema literally opened its doors to a new star. Despite her youth, Polina Filonenko, whose filmography had just begun to take shape by that time, very wisely disposed of the popularity that fell upon her. She completely refused to act in serials, although there were many offers. Despite this, films with Polina Filonenko began to come out regularly. For teenagers, she became an idol after the role of Katya - a young rebel in the film "Everyone will die, but I will stay." This work was awarded the Best Actress Award at the European Film Festival in Brussels. No less successful was the work in the serial film "I'll be back", which reveals to the viewer the fate of three sisters who survived a terrible war.
