Returning to Russia, she continued her studies at the State Academy of Choreography with teacher Natalia Arkhipova. Incredible diligence and perseverance helped Anya to overcome all the difficulties of the training period. The teacher, seeing talent in her student, prepared her for the competition, which coincided with the final exams. It was an extremely difficult period in the life of a ballerina, she literally fell from exhaustion and lost a lot of weight. In 2005, immediately after receiving her diploma, Anna Tikhomirova was admitted to the Bolshoi Theater. Here Marina Kondratyeva became her teacher, and later Nadezhda Gracheva, an outstanding ballerina, took her place.
