Combining all the definitions, we can say that an art gallery is an art and cultural institution that is engaged in cultural and educational work among the population. Galleries differ from city museums in that they take on the role of highlighting and addressing issues that are not within the purview of large state social institutions.
Ontoday only "free", that is, commercial art museums will be able to boldly cover all aspects of the promotion of art. And many types of galleries (galleries of light, glass, ceramics have appeared) make it possible to satisfy the artistic taste of art lovers and visitors to such establishments to the fullest extent.
