Throughout the series, the same actress starred in it - Helen Wagner, who got into the Guinness Book of Records for her longest performance of the same role in the same film. True, the shooting of the actress was not continuous. Several times she was absent from the project in order to brilliantly return again. It is noteworthy that Helen Wagner starred in the first season of Guiding Light, but then, for objective reasons, she switched to a new project. The actress died of cancer at the age of 91, a few months before the end of the series, to which she devoted her whole life and all her work.
