From that moment, Ilya Lyubimov firmly decided to become an actor. Over time, creative activity began to dominate in the life of a young man: not only all his free time, but also lessons and additional classes at school had to be devoted to the mastery of acting. Combining the process of acquiring knowledge and theater is becoming increasingly difficult. However, the artistic director and director of the school find a way out of this seemingly very difficult situation: after consulting with their parents, they transfer the talented young man to the school named after E. A. Yamburg. This educational institution is famous for its study model: thanks to the introduction of special developments, it is not the student who adapts to the study, but the study adapts to the student's schedule.

However, despite the unusual desire of the boy to become an actor, in 1992, quite unexpectedly for everyone, he enters the Lyceum of Moscow State University at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics. Having chosen the speci alty "PC programmer", Ilya Lyubimov decides to continue the path of his father, who is the head of one of the design bureaus, and also get a completely normal civilian speci alty.

However, even there his dreams of the stage do not leave him. After studying at an educational institution for a year, Ilya Lyubimov learns that the enrollment of students for a course to the famous teacher Pyotr Fomenko begins. Since childhood, the young man dreamed of getting into the mastery of this talented director and teacher. And now, finally, he had such an opportunity. In 1993A sixteen-year-old young man enters the directing department at GITIS as a free student. It is noteworthy that at that time Ilya did not even have a secondary education, so in order to be admitted to the institute, he had to graduate from school as an external student.

After receiving the certificate, Lyubimov is enrolled in the camp of students, and he becomes a full member of the GITIS theater fraternity. In 1997, the hospitable walls of the educational institution released a group of students, among whom is the talented actor Ilya Lyubimov. In the same year, the young man was invited to join the friendly family of the P. Fomenko Workshop theater. As part of the troupe, the artist plays to this day.
