Many of those who grew up in Soviet times remember what children's songs were like. They sang about friendship, kindness and honesty. Among them were both sad and funny. But most importantly, for the majority of those living in the post-Soviet space, these songs are reminiscent of a happy and carefree childhood. One of these is the song "It's fun to walk together." Simple lyrics and uncomplicated melody do not prevent her from being one of the favorite children's songs so far.

But for the first time she sounded in a film about the village detective Aniskin back in 1978. It was performed by the Big Children's Choir with its main soloist Dima Golovym. It was quickly picked up throughout the Soviet Union, and now the words of the song "It's fun to walk together" sounded at children's matinees and school evenings. And this is not an accident, but rather a pattern. The authors of this hit, as they would say in our time, were the real mastodons of the Soviet stage - Vladimir Shainsky and Mikhail Matusovsky. Both of them by that time were the authors of many songs, and not only for children.

Today, when everything is rethought and distorted in the minds of people, the words of the song "Together it's fun to walk" seem to many to be a reflection of the ideology of Soviet society, where everyone was supposed to be the same. But it is unlikely that such a meaning was invested by the authors themselves. The song not only talks about having fun walking together and singing in chorus, but also about the fact that any business is hard only at the beginning. Better yet, ask your friends for help, then much will be easier and more fun to do. This is what the words of the song are about: "One - a plank, two - a plank, there will be a ladder," and so on. The most interesting thing is that children still understand this song in this way. And only adults see some subtext in it.

Whether it is or not, it probably doesn't matter anymore. More than one generation of children has grown up to the sounds of a simple melody, and the words of the song "Together it's fun to walk across the open spaces" have become popular. Most likely, it is the uncomplicated melody and simple words that are the secret of her popularity. And indeed, everyone who heard it at least once, surely sang it over and over again. And this has been the case for nearly 35 years.

But the old children's songs are still relevant today. This confirms the fact that they must be learned at school music lessons. And this is given attention at the highest level. True, as always, there were also opponents of such obligatory choral singing. But what to sing to children instead of Soviet songs, they also do not know. The fact is that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, such a genre as a children's song practically disappeared. In a new world where money was the main thing, raising children is notreceived virtually no attention. And in fact, in the last 20 years, new songs for children simply did not appear.

As a result, until there is a new repertoire, time after time, no matter what the meaning of the text, the song "Together it's fun to walk across the open spaces" will sound in schools and kindergartens. And in fact it is very good that modern children, like their parents, will sing about true friendship and kindness. Perhaps this and other songs from the Soviet era will teach them to believe in a better future, to be more attentive to others and always offer their help to friends.
