Chepraga Nadezhda is a Soviet and Moldavian singer. She is an Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, as well as a member of the Cultural Council under the Orthodox Church of Moldova. Biography

Nadezhda Chepraga was born in 1956, on September 1, in the village of Raspopeny (Moldavian SSR, Rezinsky district). Her father was Aleksey Pavlovich Chepraga, holder of the Order of V. I. Lenin, who, at every opportunity, pleased his family with playing the violin. The singer's mother, Zinaida Denisovna, loved to perform folk compositions.

Being in the fourth grade, Nadezhda took part in the song festival, thanks to which she became the soloist of the Dumbrava ensemble. A couple of years later, the girl starred in the short film "At the Grape Picking" as one of the members of the aforementioned team. While studying in the ninth grade, Chepraga performed as part of the popular children's program "Alarm Clock" with the composition "Merry Wedding". Nadezhda wrote the lyrics for this song herself,and the author of the music was the Moldovan composer Evgeni Doga.

Then the young singer appeared in the program "The Screen Gathers Friends", broadcast on Central Television. In collaboration with the orchestra conducted by Y. Silantyev, Chepraga Nadezhda recorded "Merry Wedding" for "Blue Light".

Musical creativity

At the age of 16, the girl went on tour to France with Joseph Tumanov, during which she took part in a folk song competition and won a gold medal. In 1973, the singer sang the composition "Doina" at the tenth World Festival of Students and Youth in Berlin. This performance was awarded the Gold Medal. Soon Chepraga entered the music school. Sh. Nyagi (Faculty of Choral Conducting and Vocal). Then she became a student at the Conservatory. G. Muzichesku in the capital of Moldova.

For about 10 years, Nadezhda Chepraga worked as a soloist in the State Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra. Private life

Before the wedding, the singer was courted by the son of Nicu Ceausescu and the Sultan of Brunei. In the end, professor and doctor of economic sciences Evgeny Litvinov became the husband of Nadezhda Alekseevna. She met her future husband in Leningrad during the Days of Moldovan Culture. After the performance of the singer, Eugene, who was 12 years older than her, handed the girl a bouquet of white roses. Nadezhda recalls that at first she was haunted by the age difference. Young people got married in the fall of 1977, then their son Ivan was born in their family, who today lives in Germany. Evgeny Aleksandrovich passed away in 2009. Shortly before his death, he underwent heart and lung surgery.
