Biography

Brian Johnson was born in 1947, October 5, in the UK, in Dunston. It happened in a small house near the railroad. His father was in the military and fought in World War II. Fought in Italy and Africa. The mother of our hero is a native of the first of these countries.

Brian Johnson, as a child, sang in the church choir. There, his good vocal abilities were noticed. For some time, our hero even took part in one famous show. At the age of 15, the future musician left school to become a turner.

Creativity and other activities

Brian Johnson went to college and two months later formed his own successful band called The Gobi Desert Canoe Club. At the age of 17, our hero was drafted into the army. He has served in Germany for two years. After three months he spends at work as a draftsman. In 1971, our hero and his friends create a group called Buffalo. A year later, the band accepts a new guitarist, after which it takes the name USA. In 1972, the team signed a contract with the London company Red Bus Records and renamed themselves Geordie. After moving to metropolitan London, the band's business went better, but until the very breakup, which occurred in 1976, Geordie did not manage to gain popularity. In 1975, our hero released a solo single called I Can't Forget You Now. This work was not well known. Two years later, the musician tried to create Geordie II. During this period, he made a living repairing cars. He soon heard about AC/DC. After some time, Johnson was invited to this team.

The musician got into the group by accident. After the death of Bon Scott, a fan sent the candidacy of our hero to the team manager Peter Menchi. The musician learned about his own enrollment among the last, it happened in 1980. Until that moment, he was listed as a member of the Geordie group.
