It is difficult to find a person in our country who does not know at least a line from the fables of Ivan Andreevich. His style is easy to perceive, touching and sarcastic, and the analysis of Krylov's fables is nothing more than an opportunity to plunge into a variety of types and situations, but one cannot immediately say what century. The images are commonplace and recognizable even in our century, because the essence of a person practically does not change. And this despite the fact that some of the fables are nothing more than a translation of the works of La Fontaine and Aesop, only the characters are so close that you even get lost: were the fables written in the 6th century BC?
Already in elementary school, these works are studied. The writer's style is so light that it allows even first-graders to study and analyze them. There are many Krylov's fables. We learn them by heart, they are interesting and instructive. Easy to perceive and the psyche of young children. But one should not talk about the first Russian fabulist as an author who wrote exclusively children's entertaining stories. The themes of Krylov's fables are so diverse and often complex that they do not fit into the framework of a children's fairy tale.

The author spent a lot of time among ordinary people, perceiving the style of thinking, the manner of communication, the mentality (earlier they would say - the soul) of his people.
Ivan Andreevich Krylov, whose fables we are discussing, was extraordinary not only in his mindset, but also in everyday life was different from those around him. He was famous for his untidiness, laziness and did not hide his love of food. Even at the reception at the Empress, he could not restrain his "manners", introducing those present into amazement.
To be fair, it must be said that he did not immediately become a sought-after author. A lazy person by nature always had difficulties with work, and the caustic style of expressing thoughts gave the authorities a reason not to feel favor for him. But a good disposition and a slightly ridiculous perception of life bribed those who knew him, which eventually resulted in great love and appropriate honors for the author, who became pleasing even at court.
If we draw a parallel to the current genres of satire, then we can talk about the association of the poet's work with the modern humorous art of "stand up". The authors ridicule the shortcomings of society with the only difference that Ivan Andreevich did it much more skillfully. An analysis of Krylov's fables allows us to draw such conclusions. A subtle, sarcastic description of human vices, not so much to ridicule, but to state a fact, to enable readers to assess the situation. Moreover, the presentation in verse, you see, is not accessible to everyone, and even after centuries we are happy to quote popular expressions from immortal fables.
