Budnitskaya Alla Zinovievna is a talented actress who is known to all lovers of Soviet cinema. However, few people know that Alla might not have chosen the acting profession, because initially she planned to become a professional translator. But the actress does not regret her choice at all, as she is sure of its correctness.
Alla Budnitskaya is a native Muscovite, she was born in July 1937 and spent her entire childhood on the Arbat. She was only three years old when the Great Patriotic War began, so she remembers these terrible events quite poorly. Her mother, who worked as an administrator, and her father, an engineer, tried to do everything so that little Alla endured the hardships of the war as easily as possible.
Alla Budnitskaya and her family
The family of Alla Budnitskaya had her own star - her uncle Yevgeny M altsev performed with the famous Chaliapin in the capital of France, where he lived all his life. Alla often visited her uncle and, looking at his acquaintances, dreamed of becoming a bright and talented actress, able to please people with her acting.
Difficultbelieve it, but Alla was quite ugly in childhood, her face was decorated with a lot of hemp, and the boys did not pay much attention to her. The future star had a lot of complexes with which she had to fight over the years.
Budnitskaya's desire to go on the acting path intensified in 1947, that's when her mother left to work in Germany. Alla left with her mother and spent most of her free time visiting cinemas. The father of the family could not stand the separation and soon filed for divorce. Budnitskaya was very worried about the divorce of her parents, because her mother forbade her to communicate with her father.
As a child, Alla spent a lot of time with her father's sisters, it was they who taught her the intricacies of Jewish cooking. Budnitskaya became seriously interested in cooking and helped the household with the housework. The mother of the actress had to sew to feed her family, however, the woman succeeded in this and very quickly became one of the best dressmakers in the capital.
First steps in cinema
When Budnitskaya was in the 10th grade, she was noticed by one of the directors of the film "Certificate of Maturity" and invited to play a small role in the crowd. In the tape, the face of the actress can be seen in close-up, she owes this to one of the directors of the film. Convinced that the directors really notice something in her, Alla, after graduating from school, applied to the Shchukin school and VGIK.
However, Budnitskaya failed to enter either one or the otherschool and fell into depression. The girl felt such hopelessness that she applied to the Faculty of Foreign Languages and soon became a student, having successfully passed the competition. But Budnitskaya was not at all happy about receiving a higher translation education.
For several months, Alla yearned in the evenings and thought about her failure at the entrance exams to Pike and VGIK. Gradually, Budnitskaya began to get used to her way of life and at some point even came to terms with the fact that she would become a professional translator and start working in her profession.
Chance meeting
So three years passed, after which Budnitskaya met Alexandra Lyapidevskaya. The wife of Anatoly Kuznetsov was specifically looking for Alla: it turned out that the selection committee of VGIK regretted her refusal and decided to give Budnitskaya another chance. Alla perked up and decided to try her fate again.
Budnitskaya was invited immediately to the third round of the audition, and she passed it brilliantly. If not for a chance meeting with Lyapidevskaya at a bus stop, it is quite possible that Alla Zinovievna would have become a popular translator. Now she got a chance to fulfill all her desires, and Alla Budnitskaya, whose biography made a somersault here, was not going to miss it.
At VGIK, Alla began a completely new life, now she had talented teachers who bit by bit invested knowledge and skills in the young actress. But even here, not everything went as smoothly as Budnitskaya would have liked - she was most often seen in the role of glamorousyoung ladies, representatives of high society, stupid and beautiful girls and sophisticated ladies, and the actress herself dreamed of playing in a tragedy.
There is always a way out
The actress began to look for a way out of this situation, in the end she managed to solve the problem by starting to work on television. It was there that Budnitskaya played in almost all classical productions. Finally, the actress's life began to improve and she began to experience real pleasure from the game.
Alla Budnitskaya prefers to play characteristic roles, take at least her work in the film "Clever Beauty", where she practically did not use makeup. She was lucky to work with Alexander Muratov - she played a well-groomed old woman who managed to preserve her beauty even in her old age, but was forced to die alone.
TV series and foreign languages
Most of Alla Budnitskaya's acting work is series, it is in them that the actress feels most comfortable. In her opinion, the most successful multi-part film in which she had a chance to act is “On the Knives”, where the actress played the main role, for which she received one of the main prizes of the Dombay film festival.
Despite the fact that Alla Budnitskaya, whose biography is full of bright and positive events, abandoned foreign languages, they still came in handy for her in acting. Thanks to her knowledge, the actress actively filmed abroad, preferring to work with French directors and actors. Among the foreign paintings in which she took part, stand apart "Happiness" and "Woman onthe wind." In the last film, Alla's partner was James Thiere, who is the grandson of the great Charlie Chaplin.
Working in and out of films
In total, the talented actress has played more than 50 roles in television series and movies. The most famous works of the actress are the paintings "Gobsek", "An Ideal Husband", "Station for Two", "Lord Arthur's Crime". All the roles that Budnitskaya played, for one reason or another, were remembered by the viewer and brought the actress well-deserved popularity.
Shooting in films and television series is not the only work of Alla Budnitskaya, she was a TV presenter and head of programs dedicated to home comfort, family and the secrets of culinary art. In parallel with this, the actress has always raised in her programs the eternal female question of how to remain attractive for many years. The program with Alla Budnitskaya attracted the attention of not only women, but also men.

Alla Zinovievna also showed herself as a writer, releasing the book "Tasty Memoirs". The publication is more like a collection of short stories, it contains 15 small stories dedicated to the life of the actress, her friends and culinary secrets. The book was released in a fairly limited edition, but it will not be difficult to find it if you wish.
When the crisis broke out in the 1990s, actress Alla Budnitskaya, like many actors, was left without a job. The actress did not lose heart, but remembered the craft that her mother once did - sewing, andbegan to create exclusive things, selling them with the help of her American and French friends.
Restaurant business in the life of an actress
It was necessary to survive somehow, and Alla Budnitskaya, together with a former classmate, decided to open a restaurant. At first she had to work as a cook and a supplier, as cleaners and dishwashers she took on unemployed sound engineers and editors who were left without work on television.
Soon the restaurant began to bear fruit and become popular. The entire acting beau monde of the capital came here, it was there that Alla Pugacheva and Philip Kirkorov celebrated their engagement. Thanks to her own restaurant, Alla Budnitskaya managed to build a country cottage, which she and her husband, director Alexander Orlov, dreamed of for so long

The actress pays a special place in her life to friendship, but she does not have so many friends - Svetlana Nemolyaeva and Liya Akhedzhakova, with the latter Alla Budnitskaya even has a joint living space. Among the friends of the actress are Irina Kupchenko and Vasily Lanovoy, who supported her in difficult periods of life.
With her husband Alexander Orlov Alla Budnitskaya, whose photo once graced the covers of magazines, met in the acting workshop of Kozintsev at VGIK. After completing the first year of study, they went together to the virgin lands, where they created an agitation team and began to be active in social activities. The couple have been together for over 50 years, they managedovercome all life's difficulties on your way.
Despite the fact that the spouses do not have children, they are not too worried about this. In the late 1970s, Mikaella Drozdovskaya, Alla's best friend, died tragically. Her daughter Dasha was left an orphan. Alla Budnitskaya and Alexander Orlov adopted Dasha and gave her the appropriate upbringing. The couple's adopted daughter grew up and also became an actress, her husband is Alexander Aleinikov, a popular actor. Not only a mother, but also a grandmother is Alla Budnitskaya.
