Fernando Sucre is one of the characters in the series "Escape". For four seasons (2005-2009) this film won the hearts of millions of viewers around the world. And in 2017, a new fifth season of the series was released.
Series plot
Fernando Sucre was born and raised in one of the disadvantaged areas of Chicago. His mother, Francisca, fearing that her son will get in trouble with the law, sends him to live with his aunt in New York, where his life changes for the better. He finds a permanent job and meets the girl he loves named Maricruz. Wanting to impress her, Fernando robs the store.
Deciding to propose to his beloved and having no money for an engagement ring, Fernando tries again to rob the same store. However, he is turned in to the police by his cousin Hector Avila, who is jealous of their relationship with Maricruz.
For the robbery, Fernando Sucre is sentenced to five years in the Fox River prison, from which it is impossible to get out. There he meets Michael Scofield, who goes to jail on purpose to save the life of his brother Lincoln Burroughs, who was sentenced to death.
Michael prepares an escape plan, knowing the features of many of Fox River's facilities. He once worked ina firm that plans the prison facility. Sucre dreams of returning to his beloved, so he also agrees to escape.
Continuation of the series
The fourth season of the series ended with the death of Michael Scofield, who heroically saved his beloved Sarah. However, in the fifth season, viewers will learn that he is still alive.
After seven years, one of the former prisoners accidentally discovers a photo in which he sees a man very similar to Michael. Lincoln, along with Sarah and other old acquaintances, including Fernando Sucre, are sent to a Yemeni prison, where Michael is alleged to be.
A new escape is planned to free the innocent Scofield. Michael very much wants to return home to his son and a quiet life. The escape is successful, but a real hunt begins for the fugitives.

The actor Amory Nolasco Garrido, who played the role of Fernando Sucre in the series, was born in Puerto Rico on December 24, 1970. After graduating in biology from the University of Puerto Rico, he went to New York to study drama.
Amory started his career with small roles in television series, but he gained real fame in 2015 thanks to the talented portrayal of Fernando Sucre in the TV series Prison Break.
