Miles Kane was born in the spring of 1986 in Merseyside. Miles was the only child in the family, and after the divorce of his parents, he was raised by his mother. At the age of eighteen, he began playing in a young Hoylake band, The Little Flames. During this period, Alex Turner and Miles Kane first met. Soon Miles Kane with two former musicians of "Sparks" - bass guitarist Joe Edwards and drummer Greg Mikhol - created a group - The Rascals.
