One had only to remember the melody playing at the beginning of the Russian television show "The Village of Fools", as the mood naturally rose, and the silent jokes of the heroes only strengthened the overall impression. Many people liked this series, but there were also opponents who considered it unfunny and even stupid. However, sometimes, after a long and hard working day, something light and funny was just missing, and in such situations, Pun was saved.

History of the creation of the program

Like any other show, "Pun" has its own history. The creation of the program was preceded by the unification of the comic trio and duet into a single team called "Full House".

The first episodes of the TV show came out in 1996, but not a single channel was eager to show at least one of them. But nevertheless, 12 episodes were released in Kharkov, but then the telecomic was called "Full House" and did not have much excitement. After a clear failure, the general director of the project, Irina Kozyr, turned to her old friend Eduard Verkhoturov with a proposal to become the director of the program. The man immediately accepted the offer and began to pull the "Full House" out of the pit. And Yuri Stytskovsky, who at that time was not only the director, but also the host of the show, helped him.

"Full House" vs "Village of Fools"

At first, 5 out of 12 episodes were completely re-shot and released, and the boring title "Full House" turned into an interesting and funny "Pun: Village of Fools". Later, when the program gained popularity, the releases began to be filmed in Odessa, along with the location, the producer also changed, this time it was Yuri Volodarsky. The series was aired on ORT, for four years of endless work, about 90 episodes of the Village of Fools were released!

New age - new place of residence

With the beginning of the new century, the program was also updated, it moved again, but to another channel, the producer explained this move with financial benefits. In December 2000, "Pun" began to be released on RTR, about 40 episodes were filmed in a year!

Guess which program brings together the best comedians of the former USSR? Fans of good humor will need a second to realize that this is the Village of Fools. Only the best, deserved and talented actors have gathered here.

What only the most unexpected heroes we have not met on the screen of your favorite show: a bear, and a pilot, and a village woman, and a stewardess. Moreover, the listed images are only a small part of the favorite characters, which were performed by the same people, however, in different scenes. An indispensable host, cook, cheerful and even a little crazy crew commander is Yuri Stytskovsky, who skillfully plays his roles. Now this actor continues his activities andacting in films.

Another wonderful character is a sailor who was either in a state of intoxication all the time (remember how deftly he swallowed moonshine), or was a little "out of his mind". The only thing that can be said for sure is that Vadim Nabokov played him wonderfully. The Fool Sailor was not only one of the funniest characters in the program, but also a favorite hero of many. Also, this actor played Private Zhrankel, radio operator Morse, who under no circumstances showed his emotions, and the Regular.

Tatyana Ivanova is the pearl of "Pun", a lady of all trades. In the show, she played a waitress, a stewardess who is not "swayed" by what is happening on the plane, and a woman in the same village. And even though a woman, by definition, cannot be a good comedian, Tatyana played her roles at the highest level, destroying all prejudices about female humor with each episode.

Sergey Gladkov is another comedian who clearly showed his talent in the image of a loser who kept a bar, a dispatcher, an ordinary Drankel and that same mustachioed man with a red nose. All these characters gave us positive emotions and lots of laughter.

The last artist on the list, but not the last in importance, is Alexei Agopyan. We remember him as the resourceful pilot Drinkkins, who is constantly trying to save the day and get the plane out of a "steep dive".

Having understood the actors and fully realizing their talent, you involuntarily understand that this is more a village of talented and educated comedians than a village of fools. actorsthis show and still continue their activities, however, no longer on such a scale.

Why did the Village of Fools cease to exist?

The program (unfortunately) ended its existence in 2001, later on television only reruns or some frames from the series were shown. The reasons for this are still unknown, because one of the most popular shows was the Village of Fools. The actors believe that financial difficulties were to blame.

"Pun" is still "twisted" on some channels, the audience is happy to review this famous show in its time. One of the reasons why the Village of Fools became famous is the actors. But, alas, even their colossal talent was not enough for the series to last longer.
