Career
In April 1981, he began working at the well-known Lenfilm studio as a mechanic for filming equipment. From 1983 to 1988, Dmitry studied at VGIK at the directing department, and, as a student, took part infilming a picture by D. Dolin called "A Sentimental Journey for Potatoes".
The nineties of the last century became very productive for Meskhiev - Dmitry directed a huge number of commercials and music videos.
From 1990 to 2001, Meskhiev worked as a production director at the same Lenfilm studio, and in 2001 he left for the Turtle film company, where he became a producer. After another seven years, Dmitry was appointed director of the branch of the Russian World Studios company. And in 2010 he became her main producer.
The next year, Meskhiev was already the chairman of the Committee on Culture of the Government of St. Petersburg, and in 2012 he left this post of his own free will. In the same year, Dmitry created his own company, Kinodelo Production, which was engaged in the production and production of film and television projects. For the next two years, his firm produced and produced the feature film "Battalion" with other companies.

The couple worked a lot together, but despite this, the marriage also broke up, and Christina and Dmitry did not part as friends. After another quarrel, Dmitry Meskhiev decided not to give his ex-wife their daughter, who had previously lived either with her mother or with her father.
